  1. Chile in August!!!! :eplus2:

    Jen....

    Ask me about Chile...

    Love Chile! www.vallenevado.com

And on the $$ side, not expensive. Lodging included meals and tickets.

Airfare....well that was a little more than going to Montana but I had to pay for tickets and food there. It was well worth the trip to south america...

Now for winter around here...go west. Big mtn(Whitefish resort), Aspen, Vail- Beaver Creek, all good mid week.

If you do find yourself staying on the east coast, Stratton has some great grooming, and fancy digs.

  2. It's an honor to be banned around here:) Thanks Fin!

Allee, I'll take the "where's Wally", knowing you fill the shoes of "Dora the Explorer".

(boy, what a couple they would make..xo)

Jen, http://www.vallenevado.com/ may make into the season plans, I have a few friends around here who are also saving their pennies to go. Look forward to catching up with you at SES?

Angie.....Two months, three months...who's counting? I reduced the trips lasting from three weeks at a time down to one or two weeks at a time....

    I know, I know...BANNED.

  3. The Donek Snowboards, 2009 Calendar arrived today.

Its fantastic to see all the familiar faces on 8X11 glossy(some even appear twice).

Several board makers are represented, and event dates are noted throughout.

    Great job Sean!

Get yours in time for Christmas!

(no one told me before it arrived, that APRIL would look really familiar...Thanks Sean)!

  4. Hadn't seen this before. To get a season pass to the terrain park you will have to:- Watch a safety video.- Sign a waiver or, for youth, get a waiver signed by your parent or guardian.- Pay a $5 per season for your season terrain park pass.Click here for more details and to download a copy of the waiver.

Stratton Vt has been doing something similar over the past few years...with the exception of the $5 fee..I just took the "class" online last night. I would be angry if they started charging for this. I'm surprised to hear that some of you guys are thinking the fee is a good idea.

  5. Geoff, you would love this track. Wind up that little 675 of yours. Alex may have been behind me, but in all honesty, it was because I passed him under our second warm up lap(Yellow flag).....yes he has his version on video too. Lucky they didn't send me back to "B" group....You should consider a road trip with us in the spring.

  6. He doesn't want his real name used here...

  8. I'm thinking this would be a good time to get together with a few riders from Ontario, Quebec, VT, NH, MA and heck, even ME (if anyone there can carve).

Surprised you did not include CT., former home of the best women carvers on the planet.......

I smell a road trip, after all, we all know there is no good carving in Maine...

    :)

  9. I am sharing this with you so that you can understand my level of frustration and also my contempt for those around me with the fantisized thoughts "greatness". This video is so pathetic. I appologize in advance for the hidiousness you about to watch.

Go to your happy place.. and never say "King of the Mountain" until you ride with this guy...

Kids go back to school this week! winter will be here soon...

  10. all three :D

It looks like my trip to Canada last January may become an annual event. This creates conflict with the BMES.... February brings the SES, and as of last year I still was finding new terrain and friends to ride with(my fourth year)....Then finally, Telluride in March, scary groomed steeps, and a new backcountry bowl opening...

Of course I'm trying to get a SVES under my belt...waiting for those dates to be posted.

Hope everyone is having a good summer!

    -Paul

  11. It's hotter than a dorm room full of coeds around here. The surf is flat, and I'm bored.

    A movie director I'm not..
