    I will have just gotten back from Scotland. So depending on energy levels, I may try to get up there!

    So I stopped by the BEast yesterday and was very impressed. The rain has not seemed to do much damage. The whole width of lower comp was groomed!

    I'm not working there. We just have not had the cold weather we need for solid snowmaking, the last week or so has been pretty decent. Any time Berkshire East opens well before christmas time is usually rough and kinda like a bonus. I think once things are in full swing and with the new trail, the carving will only get better! All I need to do is get a decent carving board!

    I imagine the Beast should be much better come this weekend. I believe they got a solid amount of snow on Monday and with the cold temps, the snow making should be going at full steam!

    I'm shocked they opened so early. I went up last Sunday and was amazed by the lack of snow. Its been pretty chilly at night these last few days so hopefully they will have more terrain available. I bet it will be a bit of time before there is any solid carving up there! But they have a pretty solid bar so i'll likely be up at some point for that!
