  1. I rode 18.5 cm wide board with Deeluxe last season and UPZ mp 28 this season and did just fine with 60 degrees. Could even drop the rear foot to 55 degrees to test. Once you try a 20 cm wide after doing that, you’ll be saying “dang, 20 cm is SLOW to turn”. Have fun and hope season is still rocking. Ours is still cruising along.
  2. NEVER! Well, at least not yet. PC and Brighton still going strong, plus many others in Utah and Colorado. By the way, great looking tracks.
  3. Great question. The XC12 was the predecessor to the XCR and the XCR is essentially the same. The first one in North America was shipped out to a lucky guy in Cali. We still have a few XC12’s.
  4. Nicely played, reeled another one in.
  5. I believe we and many others have an overload of those from Intecs. How soon do you need them? Unable to ship them until next week but they’d be free of charge for you. A day earlier, you’d be all set. Darn.
  6. @kibber and I got to snowboard at Brighton with his bud and we demoed some boots. His advice is sound; get that foot measured in cm, refer to the sizing chart on UPZBoots.com, do a shell fit test and proceed from there. We have seen labels that look a little off on some boxes. The 279 mm shell with 4 4,5 5 stamped on it should fit mp 25-25.5 with UPZ size 5 liners. The 287 mm shell with 5,5 6 6,5 stamped should fit mp 26-26.5 with UPZ size 6.5 liners. Each shell fits 3 half sizes except the 279 mm shell. Hope that helps and hope everything is cool in Kibber Land.
  7. Indeed. I have several, but I suppose you were asking for used. We were just in Colorado over the weekend, not far from you.
  8. Hi Pat, UPZ has four models, from flexy to full on stiff, they are XCR, AT8, RC12 and RCR. Each boot has 2 adjustable springs for compression and rebound, plus one can swap those with another set of stiffer or softer (three total choices). Each boot can accommodate 4 different outer tongue choices, from 90, 110, 130 and 150 MFI. For comparison purposes, the XCR ships with the 90 MFI and the full on race RCR ships with 130 MFI. UPZ makes liners for thin feet and shins, regular feet and shins, plus has swappable liner tongues in regular, thick and thin. This is great if one has regular feet but thin or thick shins. New to North America for '24-'25, we are importing UPZ foam injection liners. UPZ makes 4 varieties, all of which can be injected by a good ski boot fitter. We do full alpine equipment demos all season long here in Northern Utah. We have boards, bindings and boots. We just ran a demo yesterday, which is also an excuse for us to get out boarding. Ultimately, the best boot for you is the one that fits and performs to your standards. We simply provide the opportunity.
  9. Pat, you are an inspiration to all snowboarders. It’s just so cool to see what you’re up to and the things you’ve done. Stay 18; you da Man.
  10. I can assist with the board and the boots. We like supporting racers. Chris UPZ North America
  11. @rjnakata, you are officially first in line to receive the beanie once new ones are made.
  12. @rjnakata, I am working on this for you. I should have an answer fairly soon. Very cool gift idea. All the best, UPZ North America (yes I know, our website is ALMOST ready)
