Well, today it is exactly one year since my accident and 4 months since cancer surgery. Knock on the wood. My eye situation is still the same. 3&4 cranium nerves are permanently damaged. So only hope for some kind of improvement is eye surgery. Appointment with surgeon next week. Upper right side of the body is still very painful I am not even sure if it is still from that shoulder. But I still not give up. I bought new body armor, new FIS approved helmet it is heavy and no any vents and also orange Visually Impaired bib. Yes like this stop some 70 years idiot. I just need neck brace. I would like to try some bunny hill sliding probably Soda Springs later in the winter. So have everybody somehow decent season in this miserable time. We are probably finally getting some snow here on the West coast. And be very careful.Remember slopes are full of idiots. I just can’t log in with my name. Jack tried to do something with it but it worked once, twice. Maybe it some sign start under new name, new boarding stage? Who knows.

I was riding at unlocked AT boots (Dynafit, Scarpa) for years. Sometimes only back foot sometimes both. It depended on condition. On 0 degree boots which are original Raichle with sole for ski binding I had Drupi spring system with soft springs. I just liked a some flex in boots. Brand new never use, thermoliners never heated. All boots are 26.5. I bought them like my preparation for retirement. Last several years I rode in these 3 models. White are 0 degree boots, those are Deeluxe boots with ski sole. I do not expect too much interest but I put them here before I do e bay. Each pair $250 shipped. I still have Kessler 162 , Coiler Angry And probably Split Voile. Guys shipping for boards are between $50 -70. It was too expensive for some, I understand but it is what is it.

Well, unhappy update. Yesterday I had appointment with my ophthalmologist. Not so much vision improvement. I had still horrible double vision. And my depth vision is really screw up. They now consider surgery to get that vision somehow better. It looks like 4 cranium nerve never recovered from that hit. So I don’t see me back on slopes, maybe I will try do some sliding at Soda springs resort later. I had to be extremely carefully not hit my head. Of course I would have get new body armor as everything was cut in pieces in January. Make thing worse A month ago I went thru 5 hours surgery to remove bladder cancer. So this winter really looks good for me. I will sell most of my boards and bunch of other stuff. I will take a pictures soon, after I will be able to move and lift stuff better. So just first cut: Kessler 162, Donek MK, Oxess166, Voile split board, Virus UFC 162,Soulcarver163, La Glisse175, brand new boots, binding and so on. It is so sad after 54 years on the slopes. The boarding was such a big part of my life for last 30 years, it just feel so empty now. I hope you guys will have a great winter.

Ok it is working again. So it has been 2 months since injury. It was the hardest time in my life. I was going from one doctor appointment to the other. My record is 3 in one day. I am on disability. I still wearing moon boot. I had to even sleep with it. Inside ankle ligaments got beaten. I am going through physical therapy for shoulder. It was 5th dislocation. I st after shoulder surgery. They also thinks ligaments between shoulder and collar bones were torn. The biggest problem is my right eye. 3rd and 4 th eye nerve we’re damage. So I have only one working eye. Doctors told me we need to wait and hope if any improvements will happened. But so far it looks bleak. Pretty much it is end of my boarding/ skiing carrier after 54 winters on the slope. If I will be able to do backpacking is also questionable. Probably no my cross country trips. A couple doctors told me I can be lucky be still here. Thanks all of you guys who sent me mail I am using forum to just write one answer. I will have a lot of stuff for sale boards, bindings, never used boots and loathing, tuning stuff and so on. I just need time to depart with all that stuff. It was 30 years every weekend at least on slopes. It is hard. Thanks all of you and safe ridding. We are just targets on slope with wide turns.

I hope is will be only post here. On January 3 rd I got most likely hit in my blind spot, back leg side, by 70 years old skier ion Kirkwood chair 2 somewhere at middle of the run. It is blue wide run. I don’t remember as I was in a coma and had to be air lifted to Reno hospital. Spent 3 days there and I am home now right shoulder was dislocated or something is broken they are not sure. My left ankle is all swollen stretch ligaments. My right eye is shut down even when I open and held the lid I have double blurry vision. Of course bad headache and short term memory problems. Bruises all over right side of body. I wear helmet and full body armor. Everything was cut in pieces by ski patrol. You can be careful as you want but somebody will get you eventually. If you can ride with somebody just to have a witness. Nobody did not see anything I was told and ski patrol takes is as no foul accident. Pretty much not have a idea when I will be on the slopes again or what will happened with my job. This occurred on my 9th day of the season. Currently I am dealing with Kaiser insurance. No fun no neurologist’s appointment for next two months. Probably policy if we will be lucky he will die sooner. I am getting pretty pissed by every day but I can probably lucky be still life. Again ride with somebody if possible.

First time at Keystone. Pretty nice resort like it much more than Breckenridge. But 4 days no one hardbooter. Just stupid questions: what is it? Never saw it, ski boots and so on.

Well if this is a top quality we are probably living in different worlds. I tried to contact them twice. No I did not want new board just sent me missing letters and I will fix it somehow. Absolutely no answer. By the way world cap racers don’t pay for their boards. So for you guys think twice before you dump 15 hundreds maybe you should consider company which already know how to glue stuff together.

Well consider quality of their products and customer service( non existing) you are probably closer to the target than you think.Their workmanship is big disappointment for me. I will post pictures later but I will never buy anything with that name for sure.

I needed replacement for Revolution Narrow 162. There is it on the right. Brand new thanks to Shred. On the left 166 Dragster. Both board Hyper carbon top sheet. Now just waiting for snow.

How tall are they compare to regular Deeluxe? Please some input. Blue Tomato have them on pre order for “just” $590. I would like to try them, what will be most likely problem in States, before dumping 6 hundred. They looks like nice for resort ridding. Climb in these with classical harbor sole if pretty much impossible or very danger. Too bad they are not build on AT sole. That’s why I like Scarpas and Dynafits. Much better for not just climbing but regular walking.

Pretty much that is how it will be. I have Epic and Ikon passes for several seasons I am buying full price passes because anything cheaper has severe restrictions and day ticket prices are getting insane. These two passes cover all California resort, except Sugar Bowl which I liked in the pass. It looks like both companies went with the same beer distributor. Now you have the same crappy beers everywhere.

It is Revolution narrow Shred did you try it yet? I took my recently at Taos and Santa Fe ski.it performed well on steeps, moguls, trees and some fresh snow. And it carved well also. What is the board on left?
