  1. Awesome! Congratulations to you both! Did you exchange rings or carving decks?
  2. If Snow Summit recvd that amount they could open!
  3. I agree with the two previous posts. I own Cateks also and like them but the service is nil and I would never buy another Catek product again based on the experiences of other posters here on BOL. Do as Bordy says and buy products from a company who cares about the alpine riders and designs new and improved products every year. Bomber has updated their bindings and have come out with other products and what do we get from the 'other' binding mfr? The same ol' binding year after year after year

    Yo Lci!!

A-basin opens on Wednesday with Loveland following shortly after that, or maybe before? Who is going to ride the WROD this coming weekend?
  5. Just stay tuned into this thread for notification. Once the season starts the SoCal ride board gets lots of activity! Hope to see you on the mtn!
  6. What????? This is nonsense. You have a mtn bike to keep those legs in snowboarding shape. Also, get yourself a small pack rod for fishing and throw a backpack on any go exploring

    Yo Lci!!

Snowmaking begins at Loveland and so does the LCI thread for the 12-13 season. You guys will be carving turns in no time, I'm envious!
  8. I was attending the Amgen Tour of California this weekend and got to take a spin on a BMC SL01 equipped with Electronic Ultegra. All I can say is WOW. Just a little tap to the inner paddle (the brake lever is no longer involved in shifting) and it bangs off gears quickly. What is awesome is to see the front derailleur auto-adjust to whatever gear you are running in the back to alleviate chain rub. We hung out with the Reynolds Wheels crew, Reynolds provides wheels to team AG2R. It was awesome to see the excitement of the Reynolds crew's faces when they found out that Sylvain Georges won the Big Bear stage on a breakaway.
  9. Great Video! looks like some good carving was taking place!!
  10. Do any of the attendees of the JCC have any pics or video they can share?
  11. If he doesn't have another set of bindings that have a 3d pattern he will need to use the unicants to be able to use the SnowPro bindings (4 hole) on the Burton board (3 hole).
  12. LOL. I was wondering when you posted that date if you had your days confused. Terryw is planning on going Tues and I am going to try my best to get there also. Conditions should be carveable and I will be on a board also!! It might be the last session for me of the season.
  13. Looking at the radar picture you guys better get lots of carving in today as tomorrow looks like a whole different set of conditions! Have fun up there, wish I could have been there with you all.
  14. is this the one?? It starts off with that song but progresses to something a bit more metal.
  15. Thanks for looking out for me Chad. One of these years I will make one of these get togethers. Have fun rippin' some trenches in the corduroy!
  16. Sounds like a great time with all the hardbooters there. Carve some turns for me!!
  17. Might want to list if cant disks are for TD1 or TD2. TD3 uses the same cant disk as TD2 but with different center disk.
  18. count me in for a few tshirts. What a great idea Andrea. I will wear mine with pride! I will talk to Terry, we stayed at his condo in Mammoth a few years back and also at Mike and Jenny's party. He is a graphics designer and does lots of custom shirt designs for the local firefighters
  19. took it out last Sunday but only for a few runs. It started to get crowded quickly and had a few near hits with people. I want to give it a try on a week day where the crowds aren't so thick
  20. do you have room for one more? I have a Coiler 163 SL of yours. if you don't have the room I will just hang onto it.........permanently!
  21. Now that the snow is finally starting to arrive in the Sierras, is there any news that could be discussed concerning SNES? I would like to attend one of these get togethers to ride with some fellow carvers but only if you allow carvers on skis as well as boards to attend? :) Has there been any dates discussed? I tried looking for a thread but maybe with the new forum page those older posts were eliminated.
  22. Looking good Julian and Andrea! Snow sounds a bit hard?
  23. planning on being there on first chair on Sunday, anyone else?
  24. Summit was able to make a bunch of snow last night and with the wind still blowing up there tonight looks promising as well. Thinking about carving some turns on Sunday, anyone else interested?
