  1. I have a set of UPZ 'virus' boots in good shape. These are the modern version with very clean liners. These have the grey springs and are 312mm on the heels so fit 28 - 28.5 mondo and black tongues... PM me with an email and I will send pics as I cannot seem to post the pics here.

  5. Good boards for the price...bump for winter...
  6. Anyone got a kid and looking to try hardboots with them?
  7. I am not shitting on F2's here, this is just info: My son runs bombers, and has even moved to TD2's for a reason. For every rider, there needs to be some flex at or about the bindings. Some like the bindings to flex, while others like the boots to flex. People also tend to see someone win a race, and move to that equipment regardless. Most riders today want very stiff boots, and use F2s for their flex. My son has a little more flex in the boots and less in the bindings. He has done that because he has tried F2s twice, and both times had a failure. Both sets were modern (less than 3 years old) but not new. Both sets inspected out to look great. He will continue to try them, as F2s might fix their past issues. My son has ripped a total of 2 bails out of his eye hooks on TD3s and has never broken a set of TD2s. due to this, he runs TD2s on his race boards and in racing and has "confidence" in them as they are built ridiculously tough. The bails are slightly larger in thickness than other bindings like the F2s and they slightly 'stick' in the heel slot meaning you twist the foot out when unhooked. He doesn't like the sidewinders as they "act differently" depending on the temperature, as in 35 degrees the bumpers it pivots on as softer and at -20 they are hard cement bricks, so he likes consistency in his ride. TD2s and TD3s are heavier and add about 5lbs to the boards overall weight.... Hope this was helpful.
  8. Not more than three, I would say.... Seems like with more you end up spending more time waiting for someone to use the can, discussing what trail to ride, etc.. than actual riding.... A pack of 3 total seems to be ideal as you just tear it up and enjoy the place....
  9. Ah, the joys of discussions...... Let me guess... when this thread is cancelled because of the tone, you will blame me for that as well, quack, quack, quack? Love the irony of you calling me a blowhard, but I doubt you will see it...
  10. no... the point is: A family always stick together when attacked. The scammer is an attack on this house. People put their personal feelings aside to unite against this cause... it is like a family does... <sigh> it was meant to be a warm welcoming message of unity......
  11. Kind of funny though.... We have in this channel the furthest left and the furthest right on the political spectrum... These two sides fight to the point of anger.... But you have some stranger who comes in THIS HOUSE and tries to do a scam, and the big stiff arm gets extended with huge force as all rally together... all fight together .... We seem to be a dysfunctional family here by all measures... but family all the same....
  12. This is sad and the second time in under 6 months. This isn't a gathering of rich people, and this is sad that this happens. I don't think Jack should take any overarching action, but whenever anyone reaches out to sell, or tell you of a potential seller, check their membership longevity and also look at their number of posts. Good luck all, and we hope we can keep this legit by calling out what we see...
  13. A guy named "Husky" ping'd me with the following: "SilverSn0w has been trying to part out with his standard TD2 Uppers.. I'll suggest that you should contact him to know if it's still available..‪ alexmusson847@gmail.com You can email him.." I didn't reach out to this guy as I like to just wait to chat with people and if he had anything, he would have reached out to me....

With Lake Tahoe shattering a 50 year record, does this mean we are heading for an ice age from climate change?
  15. pm me and they are available, yes Paypal for payment, shipping is like 10 bucks
  16. Did you see another hardbooter on a Kessler SL board? My son was there yesterday, 12/29 banging out some training... and yes... he said it was a madhouse...
  17. For sale: 2018 Donek REV 180, 19cm waist, built for 180lbs 2017 Donek REV 175, 19cm waist, built for 155lbs Send me PM with an email for pics as I cannot attach them here.
  18. I have a Rosignol 149. This is a great board for someone looking to start hardbooting. Edges are sharp but base has a rust color to it, as the white p-tex is very old. It holds wax and works fine, but just is not as pretty as the modern black p-tex of modern boards. Nothing wrong with the base, but just wanted it to be known...This is a vintage board for a very young kid starting out. I would look to a kid 110lbs or less for this, or 125lbs as a slalom board. At 149cm, this is a small alpine board.
  19. For sale is a Coiler 172 made by Bruce for a young racer. $300 plus actual shipping. This board is for a rider between 90 and 130lbs. This was made by Bruce in 2015. My son has grown out of this and it is now for sale. This is a GS board 19cm waist, Titanol and flexes well to the weight range is was built for. Top sheet has many scratches and the standard rash from use but the base is good and well cared for.
  20. Have a set of burton bindings... Come with 4x4 centers (3 hole in pic NOT included as now gone) $50 plus actual shipping... paypal... Decent... working bindings...
  21. When you say alpine, you are talking hardboots? I have a Rossignol 149 made for a kid I can part with... I also have a set of burton bindings without any CANTS that could go with it... This would be a good beginner setup if looking to get her into hardbooting if this is what you are looking at...
  22. I have a set of TD3 step in rears and would trade for the front bail if interested...... PM me if interested...
  23. I have a UPM mount AF Plate version I would part with.... I have an Apex V1 plate 4x4 I would part with... Reasonable offer takes either
