    The report I read shows snow moving in Fri evening (our flight is 10:20ish). My last trip to Aspen..........flight was canne'd and we were stranded. I am thinking positive, but always like a back up plan.:)

    Hi, We arrive in Denver at 6:30 and our flight to Aspen does not leave til 9:30. If anyone else is flying into Denver late afternoon please let me know as we are concerned our connection to Aspen may get cancelled. We would be willing to share transportation costs and driving to Aspen. Thanks!

    Hi Big D! Welcome to BOL. Snowman let me know you are riding Mammoth/June! I ride Mammoth/June with my significant other usually every weekend. We generally ride June on Saturdays and Mammoth on Sundays. We leave Mammoth around noon as we have to drive back to OC. There are a couple of hard booters that live in Santa Barbara, one named Thomas. He rides up there all the time. Drop me a PM if you want to connect with riders in your area! WELCOME! :)

    WOW I think it is great there are so many girls this year!!!!!! I think that is the only reason I come out to SES:) I am the only gal out here (that I know of) that rides hard boots:( Thanks for planning Angie:) That many chicks could cause some trouble

    Yea! Lots of girls. It would be interesting to get a total head count. Perhaps lots of chicks warrants a special girls day or something? :)

    Scrutton, We are flying into Aspen Friday night I think we land at 10ish and we have a SUV rental car. We change planes in Denver and Michelle is right, Aspen is tricky (last SES our flight was cancelled and we did not get out til the next day). We are booking a back up rental car for Denver airport just in case. If your schedule works send me a PM.

    I am "tentative" for driving up late evening/early morning of the 24th/25th. I am "supposed" to take an AVY1 class starting the 26th, but given the amount of snow and liability have not heard if the class is still on. Regardless, I will be up. If not in class then I will be riding June Sat and MM on Sunday. Drive safe:)

    I will be riding June 12/31-1/3 the again the following Friday-Sunday. I think Al and Thomas may be there the weekend of 1/6 as well. Happy Holidays:)

    Hi Fin, I hope all is well! Sounds like your busy! We are getting ready to drive out there to ride for Sunday and maybe Monday (if conditions are ok), then on to Yellowstone, then onto Mammoth for opening day (assuming they get snow LOL)! What time do you open the shop on Sunday and Monday? I want to stop buy and get some new bindings (time to get with the program)!:lol:

    I was planning on going, but forgot I have a class on Saturday with the American Red Cross (ramping up for hurricane season) so I can't go:( I plan to be there the following weekend, perhaps the weekend after that and 4th of July weekend. Hope to see ya up there!

    FYI I rode MM last Friday and Saturday. They groomed Cornice and Scotty's. Cornice was crowded, but Scotty's was virtually empty! Since Canyon closed parking is a &*#^&*#^&$^#! I recommend getting to Chair 2 by 8 AM, definitely no later than 8:15. When I left Saturday cars were parked all the way down to 3 turns before the village. Crowds not too bad if you stay on the upper chairs. Best to run chair 2 for a couple runs then head up to higher ground:)

    Snow returns to MM. 1 foot at the Main Lodge as of this afternoon. Snow continues. End result predicted to be 2 ft. Top not open today, maybe tomorrow but Friday looks EPIC..............high 30's and SUNNY! Anyone heading up?

    I will be up that weekend. I have a truck (FJ Cruiser), but not sure if clearance is enough. I will be parked at the base of chair 2.
