  1. Very easy, just fall down the stairs first thing in the morning. You can trip or slip on the snow. You don't even need to be riding to get injury. Ouch! Becareful it's a dangerous world out there.:(
  2. Yeah the cleaning broom sticks and coffee pot on ice. Sugar anyone?:D
  3. Speed demon..... .... I wish I can say, "Yo Scotty beam me over there before it's all gone!!!!!!" Looks like you can carve about 14 or 16 G turns.:D
  4. DAMN! Bring some of that snow here!!! PLeaseeeeeee! I would love to do one last run!
  5. When the season comes to an end, I switch over to the coil. However I still use the TD1 bindings. It was a good season that ended too soon. Vermont didn't get a good snowfall like in the past. It was a good thing the north east was very cold in January and early February.
  6. The board can be replace. The human body can not. Snowboard gear can be repaired or replace back to new. The human parts can be reparied or replace but never back to original condition. And you don't what to do this. Yikes!:D It only a tool.
  7. Yeah it that time of the year again. Going to weddings, cut the grass, fix the house, clean the yard, wash the cars and what else?? Oh yeah and cleaning the toilet too. Boo HOO! Be sure to leave some lines in the water from your runs. You are a funny guy! I will miss the cold hard white snow to carve some real runs. Bring out the video tape and weep! Boo HOO!:(
  8. Thank you for that picture and info. Definitely looks like better and big improvement bindings over the TD 1s!:)
  9. Yep! I don't why, but I was thinking a go-kart. Heh hee. I wasn't aware he was talking about a real kit car! I was reading the thread too fast. He should throw on a dual turbo innercooler also! That might add another 200 hp to the 600!!! Heh hee That would be one nasty car!:D
  10. While there are degree angle markings for the TD 1's, there is no true setting marker to set your angles. I use the screw allen hole as a marker. The Burton race plates have a small arrow pointer on the base to line up your disc. Are the TD 2's better to adjust your angles? The picture doesn't show it too well. Thanks
  11. .....while Okemo is not as challenging as Killington, it does offer a good verities of carving terrian. I consider Okemo a good fun "blue" MT, that you would never get bored. They guarantee at least 90 percent of the Mt would be groomed!! Plus they do a damn good job! It was a good season!:D I will miss it!!!:(BOO HOO!!!
  12. Whoa, hold your horses! A cycle engine? That would be one nasty kit car! Be sure to have extra armor and a drag chute for extra protection. LOL:D
  13. Yeah, now to think of it, I did get 2 emails with that address, however I was at my friend house who has a Mac with a email virus checker and it removes it automatically. So I just forgot about it until I saw this thread. Hummmmmm This happened shortly after I made an order with bomber about a month ago. But I haven't seen any recently.
  14. ...if anybody have an extra pair of TD1 "3 hole" disc plate they no longer need and like to sell it. Thanks:D
  15. Okemo will be close (I think) on the 11th. It wasn't so bad last week. The rain did a little damage:mad: So much for Vermont getting a good snow fall in last month. It was a good thing that is was very cold in January and early February or this season would be over already.:(
  16. I never rode the spline, but I know the feeling! I have a burton coil which is a noodle compare to the spline. But when I threw on my TD1s on them. (62/60 angles). It felt like a new board with a different ride. I was ripping like an animal! It is amazing what these bindings can do for you. Even if the board is several years old. I was a fool for riding the race plates as long as I did. Never again will those plates ever see my boots. They were good starters, but too loose in the long run. Happy trails!:D
  17. Yeah I put my hands out the window and made his tire fall off:D I know the story sounds not believable, even I could belived it. I even said to myself, What the fu** was that about? I look back on that day and I look at the events that I ran into before I met him. Getting gas by Rt 43 in Stephentown, stop by a school bus and even a truck hauling logs. How on earth did I meet up with him at that spot and the guy loses his tire????? Thank god he did stop and yelled at me. He could of been in front of me and lost the tire. The volvo was banged up and falling a part. So he doesn't care for snowboarding, why tell me about it. What do I care. I don't know...Life is strange. Maybe a black cat went by. ....Sh** happens you know!
  18. I got to shared this with ya! I never saw this before. I was coming home from Okemo last week on the Taconic PWY about 10 miles south of Bull head road. I have a vertical mount rack for my snowboards on my truck. So I am driving along thinking about the day. Then, this guy in a old volvo droved up next to me and started shouting me. I figured, what's up with this guy? What did I do wrong? So I roll down my window and said "What's up?" (being caution just in case he pulls out a gun. I remembered some poor NH girl was killed by a nut case during the winter). And you know what he was yelling at me about? My snowboards on the rack!! He said, "Hey a**hole! F***ing snowboarding sucks!" I just look around and said is this guy for real? Just as I was about to say "Have a good day", his vehicle started to have a jerky motion in the back and a lot of burning black smoke was coming out. I said, Aw S***! I nailed the floor! As I was looking in the rear view mirrior, I saw an oval black object rolling along the road. He then lost control and went into the dish! I did stop to see if he was okay. I saw him come out of the car and still yelling at me. Well, I figured he's fine. Just a dummy that didn't check to see if his lug nuts were tight. So I drove off. Leaving him in the dust. However I did see a cop about 15 miles down the road setting up for a speed trap. I told him the story. He called one of those HELP truck for the guy. Well you know what my momma said, Stupid is and stupid does! I just couldn't belived this? I was like a cartoon show!
  19. Agreed. Enjoyed life while you can! Life is short.:D I hope you recover quickly!

    Catek & TD1

Yeah oldvolvosrule, I was thinking about doing that. I do work at a machine shop and even have a aluminum wielder. Better yet I run a computerize router that can cut up to 3/4" thick aluminum. I might even fabricate a new pair. I do have a 3 hole disc set for my other TD 1. I can use that as a template. I can draw up the specs on the computer and cut it out. I can even do the inner depth cut for the screws. I figured just in case I buy another board that reguire the 4 hole. I have these. Thanks for the call.:)
  21. I know Killington sometimes can make it into June if they had a great winter season. I'm not surprise they will close early this year. But I didn't know that Sunday River can actually make it into May? I though SR always closed by Easter? That's interesting.
  22. Yep a good video, but that tune gotta go. I got uncomfortably numb:eek: Boo HOO!

    Catek & TD1

Just asking since this topic is about the TD bindings. I just brought a pair of TD 1 with the 4 hole disc. I was wondering if anybody here have extra pair of the 3 hole and want to sell it? Or where I can find another pair. Please contact me. Thanks primecarver2@yahoo.com
