If my back/leg-foot was not on fire I would have a new home for that board. I rode the OG Plankenshtein under weight for its spec and it was a blast once it got up to speed. Im sure the ones built for lighter weights would be great and a total blast in the upcoming spring conditions
Blew a disc in 06 and took 2 shots to continue to ride. Caused nerve damage and foot drop that never came back. My leg has lost about 20% of the muscle in my shin. This year I didnt stick to my training regiment and my leg and back have been burning since early Feb. 1 disc looks like its almost gone. Hope getting back to the gym will help.
You mean after Saturday?? I was not all spazed out and had a good day. Not outta the woods yet, tonight I was pretty useless rebounding for my son so I still have some issues to tend to. Funny thing is when Im angulated and carving it does not hurt
Dont need a video to ask who rides 17 on a carving board? Go 19 and start adjusting from there. Im 5-10 and ride 19.25. Wait till you see how much more stable it is, confidence will come out of that. +1 on the center of both insert packs. Its where I start dialing in my coliers when I get a new one
I never used the stock liners, went with Intuition Power wraps. When its in the low 20s or teens I notice the cold but I dont think thats any different from previous boots. Besides the fit and performance trumps and cold issues for me
1 other thing I got while Pureboarding with Mark a few weeks ago was in a toe side turn yer weight distro needs to be a bit more on that back foot/toe. Im not saying get in the back seat but a bit more weight on that back foot makes a difference. My mistake for years was keeping my weight somewhat even on both feet or not really paying attention to where the bulk of the pressure was being placed . The pureboarding day got me to heavily weight my front foot heel in heelsides and shift weight to the back toe on toe sides.
Did I make ANY sense
Bump an old thread for a brag post Today at Berkshire East, "Dude you are my hero, You get so low you could Kiss the snow" Guess broken down Bobby Buggs was gettin it done today. Question is will I walk tomorrow
Look at Jims knee above, I was having a similar issue on steeps losing my grip on toe side turns. Last year at ECES I was riding with Dan from Pure Boarding and he said point your knee out on Toe sides. Once I tried it I realized for many years I was not doing it right. It sticks like glue when you do it.
