  1. I was blacked out until this past Sat. Sat. was snowing hard and poor visibility. I rode for 45 mintues almost got clipped and said screw it. They were parking in the 3rd lot at 8:45, too busy for serious edge to edge carving. Went Sunday, snow was firm and good for the carve, however I had a boot buckle malfunction and left at 9:15, went home and ordered a brand new pair of Track 700's with a rush delivery before next weekend. As the holidays are over the weekends should be a little less crowed. I've switched my physucal therapy days to Wednesday this year to ride with the crew. They cut bumps into Flying Goose, and they were grooming out Goose Bumps. Looks like possibly 6 inches coming wednesday with only a slight chance of sleet to freezing rain for us. This weekend should be great. EZE
  2. A Moderator talking smack about a perfectly trustworthy carver. You even ride my mountain Trash I don't think I post anymore Sunape update for TT:boxing_sm. I'm interested in your burner, must discuss with boss at home. EZE
  3. Post some pics, I too would be interested. I'm in NH and could meet you half way for a trade your board my cash. EZE
  4. To the regulars; You Know Who You Are. Sunapee has some great snow, opening weekend was fab with nice firm snow and not too many human gates. Good for the hard carves. Opened with two trails down the front and one in the bowl(never made it to the bowl lift is too slow) This weekend past snow was still excellent with same trail count however they decided to groom the edges last and they were a bit soft, had to stay in the center of the trail to lay it down, get too close and you sank into the 2.5 inches of new groom. They are blowing like madd. Rain and 50 degrees forecasted for tomorrow:( but I heard a rumor BJ and some of his friends might go Thursday. If you haven't heard the Muellers(Okemo Owners) have sold the Sunapee Lease Rights to the owners of Loon(combo Pass??). They will continue to run Sunapee for the rest of this season but next year the change will take place. Snowing heavily right now and a large snowfall scheduled for Thurs into Fri:1luvu:
  5. Also Sunday Dec. 7th. $30 ticket for food donation. Should be a crazy day with the limited trail count. I'll be there at 8 sharp for my two hour session. EZE
  6. With the most opening day terrain ever. Calling for 13 trails 3 lifts. Wing Ding in the Sunbowl top to bottom, 2 main trails off the summit and one trail at the south peak for the green circlers.
  7. Looks like Opening day is targeted at Next Friday 28th

  9. I'm not railin' unless I'm biting my lips and touching the snow.

  12. New Hampshire Lakes Region Expression SessionS 09 Every Thursday at Sunapee. May be a bit tame for some but the groom is #1, And very close to that state south of NH that should remain nameless. P.S. I have recently cut three trails on Mount Ensign and am formulating plans for a rope tow and how to groom with a snowmobile. EZE

    #1 Groom

BEST SNOW SURFACES IN THE EAST FOR THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW Mount Sunapee was ranked with the best snow surfaces in the East for the third year in a row by the Annual SKI Magazine Reader Survey which will be published in the October, 2008 issue of the magazine. Mount Sunapee ranked #1 in the East for Grooming and #2 in the East for Snow Quality for the second year in a row. In 2006 Mount Sunapee ranked #2 in the East for both Grooming and Snow Quality. Our grooming was ranked #2 in the country right behind Deer Valley, Utah. EZE:lol:
  14. They were closing this Sunday 13th. Season Extended to next Sunday the 20th. Reason, there is still a ton of snow on the Mountain. And the patrons are still buying tickets. EZE
  15. This was a developmental year, new baby, new house, have to kill my dog. But I did manage 63 two hour trips to mount sunapee. Next year will be even worse, I'll have to be on skis half the time. EZE
  16. Was offically reported on channel 9 news last night. Loon is trying for the 21st. Today is $1 lift ticket day at Waterville This Thursday is lining up as maybe the last epic midweek day, sunny & 50s. Does my head feel hot, I think I'm getting sick. May have to spend the whole day recovering on Thursday.
  17. With 40 mph winds predicted for Thursday. Fri/Sat/Sun look to be nice and sunny although on the cool side.
  18. Forecast: Snow tonight 1 to 2 heavy wet inches, Wednesday rain all day, temps drop again Wednesday night with potential for a dusting to an inch. When the clouds clear up on Thursday morning the cold front will arrive bringing very windy conditions and temps in the single digits with the wind chill. Good luck if you're coming to Sunapee for Thursday, I'm holding out for the sunny spring days coming next week predicted by Channel 9 News.
  19. Looks to be a day of rainy winter mix all day Wednesday leading into Thursday morning. Bob J got a great day last Thursday all sun and a great base:( May save my time alloted for Thursday for another better day. Tomorrow looks to be sunny and warm if anyone can get away for a Tuesday late notice. EZE
  20. 100 bucks and a four sleeves of ProV1s? Oh and I'll let you be my friend, and I have a free ticket for you to Soonipi for next Thursday. EZE
  21. Looks to be a small storm coming in for tonight with a possible 2 to 5 inches. And something on Saturday but they're are not talking any real depth. So Sunday base should be excellent. I'm only allowed two hours at the mt(9 month old at home) so I leave promptly at 10 but given the recent weekend crowds that is really the only good time to do big carving as the straight liners with pick you off. I then go back sometimes at 2 and ride the last two hours but that depends on how the snow is and if it will hold throughout the day. It doesn't take long to get bored at Sunapee, but it is the smoothest groom in New Hampshire. EZE
  22. Hey Enzo, I'll be at the quad in front of the new lodge to the right of the 1st lot promptly at 7:55am 1st chair at 8. It's the best place to start with some warm up speed runs and survey the terrain. Sunapee again ranked #1 in grooming and #2 in snowmaking?? Should be great conditions as we're going to get a little fluff Fri night and Sat night should blend in great with the base. EZE

  24. That they did cut bumps back in to Flying Goose:( Good thing we got it when we did because now they'll leave them for the rest of the season. That was probably the best that trail has ever been for carving. Did you guys finally see the magic happen? Got back and my boss was like "Why are you here, you could have stayed longer":smashfrea EZE
  25. Ah. Snow 6-12 inches coming Tuesday Night into Wednesday morning. I am out for Tuesday, looking at deep POW for Wednesday morning, may be last of the season?
