  3. Looks to be a sunny cord Wednesday clouding up to a powdery Thursday morning. Very cold every morning from now till then. Sunday was one run=frostbite, about 5-6 inches ungroomed spots and 2-3 over groomed areas, nice but very cold. Anyone want to come ride on Thursday, Paul's in with no wife so he'll be there 8:45 ready to go first chair=first runs. Eric

He is the forecast. Saturday Night fresh light snow 4-6 inches. Sunday very cold and blowing hard. Looks like more snow for Weds into Thursday. Dosen't look to get warm at all. This is th offical word from Mt Sunapee; Snowmaking has ended for the year leaving roughly a 5 foot base on everything. The Mountain also wishes to close by April 1st! Reason is by that time only pass holders are riding and the Mt has so many events booked(lodges) they need to close the slopes and prepare for all the parties. Okemo will try remain open until week of April 9th/16th? Get your riding in, end of season looming close. I rode for $25 on Weds, and my first run down Cataract with blue skies and Sparkly snow was worth it. Base is beautiful, did not try the 196 Ben still quite scared. Eric
  5. I'm giving free, "Follow My Leader" lessons any time you want one. I know Jack wants to sign up. Eric
  6. Burton Elite 140 w/center fin, received for 14th Birthday. Bought from a store long out of business and rode King Ridge(had to be certified to ride) also long out of business. Don't you ever wish you could go back in time, and do it all again. Eric

    Sunapee 2/16

Checked with Boss and a small meet and greet is OK for 3/2, but you'll all have to leave before 6 because she has to study for class on Friday. I'll take care of everything, and if you feel the need bring your suit for the FOUR person tub, no rowdy Geoff&friends soup. Oh I was just lying about the pain to see how bad you guys felt. Eric

    Sunapee 2/16

Once again the Thursday Crew rode the crap out of Sunapee, me, Kathy, Geoff, Ben, Nolin, Jason, Mike from the midwest, Brad at the end. Bob Jenny, I hope you had a banner day out west cause you missed ;) one incredible blue bird, hard cord in the morn 50 degree soft snow in pm, big air, hard carving, Goeff hitting Kathy(after big air), no crowd, thank you Mother Nature day. Once again I must say riding in this group blows my mind . If you can get to Sunapee and not ECES and the conditions hold March 2nd is the day to be sick, call in a mental health day. Bob should have all the bugs worked out of his video gear and it is the last time to ride before ECES together. We could even have an informal cocktail hour at my house afterwards(have to check with Boss), so Ben can soak his foot in the hot tub(he'll have to hike his skirt up) by the way Ben tell me how your abdomin feels Friday morning after introducing it to the top of your rib cage, and thanks for the loan of the BIG STICK I will baby it as my own, although I may not be able to help the TD2 marks. Thanks again to everyone I and I hope you all had a great day again. Eric

    Sunapee 2/16

Firm cord for my breakfast, firm cord for lunch. Sun all Day. It was a bit crowded with a big race on Goose Bumps inot Eggbeater. Thursday is to be mostly cloudy not rain or snow and temps between 35-40. The snow was wetter when I left at two, that may equal out to possible hard icy cord in the very early am, I'm sure with the temps rising the snow should break at least by 10/10:30 also depending on skier traffic. Bring big boards for morn and short boards for wet stuff in afternoon. Hope to see someone, no replies today on this thread, you all must be working harder so you can play sick Thursday. Eric

You Computer Guys have all the goodies. I'm still using my Kodak Disk Camera, I have to find film on ebay for $19.95 a disk. Anyway this is the most up to date forecast. Yes, storm is coming but should arrive up here later in the day, about the time Ben 1-2 pm. This will still allow for some great turns as it is still in the 20s at night so the groom has time to set up and attach to the base. Wednesday is going to be pick of the week although more crowed then Thursdays. Thursday starts out cold partly sunny working more clouds in the afternoon could possibly build earlier then expected but may be cold enough up here to start as snow flurries. Bring low light gear and I want to see Ben and Kathy with stafety straps on all gear; gloves, jackets, etc. You have already given too much to the Mt SUnapee Ski and Skate Swap for free. Lower & Carves Eric Oh, I'll try to drop a thread and let you cube(ies) know how good it is Weds.

Maybe next year we can send out an East Coast Contingent. We all carve so well on ice, hero snow should be no problem. We may lose Geoff in some of his own trenches though.

    Sunapee 2/16

Looks to be at least four of us, Eric, Ben, Geoff, Kathy. Forecast is for warmer weather with rain possibly of Friday. Thursday similar to the last group ride will be the last good day before rain. Monday they had filled the 3rd lot by 10 am I guess not many of you southerners went to work, and we didn't get any snow, ha! Anyway snow should be great base and I predict deep trenches. We gather at the summit quad at 5 of 9. Thursday is partly sunny 43 degrees. Eric
  17. Of course they open at 8 am, I was just trying to throw off any other people planning on coming. I'll have to teach you my secret code. E
  18. Although the predictions are more smaller now 4-8 inches it should still be wonderful. Dress warm, it was neg 1 this morning with no wind. I'll be at the North Peak lift before 9, I need those steeper trails for powder, or drop into the bowl. Drive safely! Leave earlier then expected the state doesn't plow as well north of Hopkington. Eric
  19. Come on Kathy, I'll meet you for first chair at North Peak, if you can get there. Looks to be very snowy first thing in the morning. And I missed you on Thursday :( had to ride all by myself for 6.5 hours. Did see a carver on an asym with highback buckle bindings and another carver that I couldn't seem to match up[ with. Report now calls for 10 to 14 inches of medium to light weight snow Eric

    Powder Sunday.

Sorry I didn't leave conditions yesterday it was too damn good. They have blown snow everywhere and we look to get at least 8 to ten inches Saturday night into Sunday morning. I'll tell all you southerners about it on Thursday because you're never gonna get here for first chair. Mass looks to be getting 12+. Next Thursday should be epic. Eric
  21. Was a nice couple of hours, snow was very firm and my hardest carves where only sinking in .5 inch or so yet no ice just good base. Top of the mt was very windy and cold and somewhat crowed. The sun hasen't come out yet and there are spotty flurries every half hour or so. At least its not rain. They blew a huge amount of snow and will be making tonight then some more next week. They hadn't pushed any of the snow mounds out really so next week if it stays cold should be some awesome carving snow. Eric
  22. I knew you guys were out but thanks for replying. Yes Geoff I am in for ECES and staying on Bob's(your) floor. Driving up very early Wed be at mt by 11am, ride all day Thurs dine that night and ride till about 1/2pm Fri. I can't wait to demo some other boards. Man I wish I could have gone to SES, maybe some day when I get beter at riding this teleboard thing. Eric
  23. Another week and another two good days of midweek carving coming up. We received all rain on Staurday (1.5 inches) and it was horrible. I rode Sunday in the warmth and it was like April slop alright but heavy on the board. Its been in the low teens for the past two nights and they started to make snow again last night and for the next several nights. I'm riding all day Wed/Thurs and will post current conditions at lunch time Wed. I haven't heard from anyone about coming up from down south for Thursday, but the base should be quite firm and there may be actual snow falling from the heavens, Sunny day is predicted for Weds. Eric
  24. Shred that sounds more like a two hour drive from there to Sunapee. I don't know the way you like to ride but I can guess with as few other gates(people) as possible Sunapee on a Sunday is a better option if you don't mind the drive time. I'm staying at Sunapee you're more then welcome to come hang out and we can eat something at my house before your drive back to you're overnight. We'll definetly ride together at ECES, I want to ride with everyone(who can keep up). Eric
  25. Hey Shred, If you're staying in ManchVegas NH, Mt Sunapee is only 45minutes away and I'll ride with you all day Sunday at Sunapee or we could go to Okemo about 1.5 hours from Sunapee. I'll be at ECES Wed/Thur/Fri. Later, Eric
