  1. Slush Cup was saturday. I rode slop for about an hour yesterday They were going to try to Easter but the mountain couldn't hang on. We're expecting 1.5+ inches of rain this afternoon. See you all next year.
  2. I have that same board(in new condition&as wall art) and I had to T-nut for fitting TD2s seeing how it's age was prior to standardized inserts. Your set up looks very narrow whats the distance? EZE
  3. Those are the conditions. Depending on the time the groomers go out depends on the conditions you'll see, earlier=harder later=softer. Next two days call for daytime highs in the 20s & 30s and very cold at night. Sat & Sun should be in the mid 40s. You will be an hour an a half from Sunapee. Short board for the hard carves in the morning and by 11am you'll want soemthing that can cut through the slop and not get bogged down. I'll be at Sunapee both days from 8am to 10:30(All I get with toddler at home.) EZE BTW Shred; Have have you ridden the Goofy Kemper or is it wall art, still waiting for my part of the deal.

    Sunapee Wednesdays

Lows tonight in the low teens. Setting up for a firm base. Wed. calls for bright sun early with high clouds filtering in for the afternoon. Highs in the low 30s for the day. Even though it is NH vacation week they are opening the lifts at 9am. Se whomever tomorrow:) EZE

    Sunapee Wednesdays

More like dense pack medium. Snowblower went trhough it fine and it should set up for a wonderful base.

    Sunapee Wednesdays

About 10 inches right now going to snow till midnight. Wednesday is supposed to be the best day this week, sunny highs in low 30s. Every other day is cloudy or snowing. Yesterday was packed to the brim with those nice people from Mass. Today was very quiet actually made it till 10:30am. Everyone was either at church or scared of the afternoon drive home. Snow was incredible, gripy and trenchs about 1.5 to 2.5 inches deep with a great sub-base. The 25th could turn out to be the epic day of the season. We're supposed to top out tonight at possibly 14 inches with another couple coming tomorrow. It is heavy wet snow. EZE

    Sunapee Wednesdays

Now Five days out and prediction of Sunny Skies highs in low 30s. Tuesday night temps in the high teens low 20s. Should set up nicely and be firm for the morning at least. I called yesterday to see how much it would cost to buy Lynx for the day. Unfortunately they have it reserved for college race training. EZE

    Sunapee Wednesdays

There was no place to put it at the new house so I sold it this summer:( I think lawn chairs and cold sandwiches work best, then no one has to man the hot coals. Unless someone has one of those nice little gas grills. It will ne NH vacation week but it will not be nearly as crowded as a weekend, hopefully.

    Sunapee Wednesdays

Mid weight, pretty damp, still snowing now and there was no change to rain up here. Great base building snow. Looks to be another small storm coming for Sunday. Forecast for Wed. now calls for partly sunny, low 30s with snow coming for Thursday. EZE

    Sunapee Wednesdays

weather dot com calling for sunny skies and high 20s low 30s same for Thursday 26th. Tues. 24th calling for snow showers?
  11. Just checking ahead for next Wed the 25th. I've got the day off. 6+ inches coming Wed into Thurs:1luvu: With another potential storm coming for Sunday. Yesterday and Today look like banner days with a good firm base, too bad its Mass vacation and I'm blacked out. EZE
  12. Not me XX, I look like my avatar, big black Prior or 170 Mad. This mornings forecast for Wednesday. Low warm front moving through on Tuesday, afternoon may bring sleet freezing rain or light snow depending on your elevation. Wednesday morning will be partly sunny highs in the low 40s, should really cloud up in the early afternoon as rain is predicted for Wednesday late evening into Thurs. Wax for warm temps, should be a serious trench digging day.
  13. You should all bring sandwiches and coolers. Chairs I can do, a grill may be pushin it for me. Forecast for Wednesday now calls for a sunny morning MID FORTIES. Clouding up for afternoon with possible rain coming Thursday. Rode this morning didn't see XX, snow was perfect they made a lot of new stuff everywhere last Wed/Thurs nights in the cold snap. Somehow lost my pass and they wouldn't let me ride the lift anymore(don't they know who I AM!). Got a comp ticket went up to the summit at around 9:30 and was horrified with the quality of the skiers and left. Hopefully my pass will get turned in and I can pick it up in the morning if not I've got to shell out $25 for a new one:mad: It's not like me to lose anything especially the most important thing in my season. I'm good to go for Wednesday. Even though I've been to the Mt 27 times I haven't riden more then 2.5 hours a session. My legs should be done by noon.
  14. Ok I will prepare for grilling, I'll show up early to get a premo spot up front. Look for the orange vibrator in the front row of cars. Bing fold up chairs if you can, I only have a couple. XX- If you're coming tomorrow, I'll be there again right at 8am at the quad. Supposed to be really friggin cold tonight so I wouldn't worry about sticky till later in the day. Even then we're only supposed to top out in the mid 30s and you usually do not see sticky until about 40 on man made snow. Nice thing about sunapee is you can always find shade whether riding the front in the morning or the Sunbowl in the afternoon. Again I'll be there at 8 and movin fast, usually bang bonanza/chase ledges under the quad first thing to drop some jaws and then move to the north peak when quad line starts to build around 9am. EZE
  15. Next Wed calling for partly sunny highs in the uper 30s maybe low 40s. I've got the whole day off. Should I bring the grill and the lawn chairs? I don't mind lugging it up there if people would like to bring lunch to cook. EZE
  16. Accumulating snow will not make it this far north, maybe a light dusting tonight. Wax for temps to be in low 20s and partly sunny. I'm going to try for the day off on the 11th. Snow conditions are excellent, bring two boards, you're going to want both the big one and the short one. If you haven't been in a while on Flying Goose they have added an extra groomer width to the groomed side which is now just wide enough for carving with the short board if you're fearless. Lynx is incredible. Be safe and I'll see you next week. EZE
  17. And a FREE Chinese Food Lunch In for Wed. 2/11 if anyone going. Snow was great this weekend, crowds were not great. Made for 1.5 hours Saturday(windy), and hit 2 hours on Sunday(flat light) although I was reduced to riding the duckling chair and ripping apart the bottom of Flying Goose. I hate lift lines at Sunapee, you spend enough time on the chair why wait in line as well. EZE
  18. I'll be in line for first chair 8am both days at the express quad. I only get 2 hours so I pretty much just run laps on the quad to burn my legs out. Warmer on Sat then Sun. Possible morning clouds. EZE
  19. Blue Birds are for locals. Weather channel's (usually wrong) 10 day forecast calls for mostly cloudy in low 30s. EZE
  20. 8 to 14 inches this Wednesday. May be some various hardbooters going this Friday. Some talk of a gathering next Wednesday 4th. This Thurs should be a deep trenching day with all the packed pow. Friday should be epic with 2 nights of grooming and time to set up. Sunny Skies and warmer temps both days. EZE
  21. I used to race on Monday night, but there were to many competitive skiers only a few softbooters and it just got lame with no one to race against. Didn't know you had a team set up, I'm only 10 minutes from Henniker. EZE
  22. I rode Saturday and it was the best cord of the season. I rode Sunday in 6 inches of fluffy Pow with a fine groom down below, stay flat and float or cut it hard and carve the cord, pretty darn good stuff. I can only imagine that with three grooms of mixing the fluff into the manmade that your Wednesday will be superb. DRESS WARMLY, the cold front arrives tonight and will be with us through to next Monday. Today is the warmest day of the week topping out at 25. We're also expecting possibly an inch or two of snow tonight so again as always with sunapee pack a set of goggles for the low light. I can't make it Wednesday, leave some nice deep carves for the groomers to see, they always comment that they know when a carver has been at the mountain. Stay Safe, EZE
  23. Light Snow for most of the day Thursday with some breaks of sun. Blustry winds temps in the high teens low twenties. It's now almost 4pm and getting dark so i don't think the sleet or freezing rain is going to make it up here. The best forecasts come from wmur.com and look for the Lake Sunapee Area regional forecast. They will groom this in tonight is should set up nice and hard and then we'll get a little light fluff on top. Dress warm, bring something to cover your face, and the best goggles you have for low light. Should be a good day for carving.
  24. It is also no 5 to 10 inches like they thought. Looks to be maybe 3 to 4 inches of little ice ball bearings. Very fun to drive on and will be ground into a wonderful base for this weekend, nice and firm. Saturday is calling for 2 to 4 inches of cold fluff snow. Every trail with snowmaking capabilities is open now at Sunapee. EZE
  25. I'm going shopping for a new coat as white & red don't mix well with orange. May have to sell my car too:), so people in the parking lot won't throw up. I was even toying with the 325s just cause they were black, but I knew they wouldn't hold up the the torture I'd put them through.
