Dan is spot on. However, all the airB&B's I've stayed in have NOT been previous rentals but wonderful spots. In some cases I've never even encountered the "host". The ones I have encountered have all been super nice and thankfully not "too" intrusive. I hate motel rooms (sterile) so this is the way I like to travel if possible.

No, sadly I was scheduled to go this Friday (15th) but had to cancel. Long story but my boyfriend is having health issues (best told over a cold glass of gin). So I would LOVE to come up while you and Octavio are there so I'll make it work!!! Yay

OK, then. I have a GREAT picture to post of what you are ALL missing. However. Small problem. Cannot figure out how to freaking post it to this page. Bomber will NOT let me copy and paste. Hiho, all: Thanks for all the great replies about a new board for me. Happy to report I bought a 164cm Nidecker Proto from Bryan (Old Snowboarder) and got it in time to ride it the last day of our season. 8 inches of new spring snow - a worry at first. But I had a BLAST. Can't wait til next year. Thanks to Steve (who spotted the sale) and Bryan (for selling it). I am SO happy with it:D Cheers all. Looking forward to next season.
