  1. Carve some extra turns for me. It's sunny here too but I'm heading off to work:o( Phooey. At least it's pretty.
  2. Hello, all: Whilst many of you were enjoying a fine time at Bachelor at the NOES, others of us met up at Schweitzer. It was a wonderful time and I believe we showed the folks from Hawai'i, Alberta, Garrett and Dennis, just how it's carved up in northern Idaho:o) Here's the link to see the photos that Aaron Whiteman took (he's a skiier but he's OK). Enjoy. http://www.facebook.com/l/708fa;flickr.com/gp/aaronwhiteman/3Y73h7
  3. Hi ho, Thanks for your number. Got it and will call:o) Talk to you soon. Cheers, Max
  4. Hi ho, all: I won't be going to Bend (have fun and don't get hurt) this week. However, I wanted to alert folks that a few of "us" will be at Schweitzer. Alberta and Garrett from Hawai'i (at OES last year) are coming in on March 6 and staying until the 13. Myself and a friend are headed up on the 5 to the 8. It would be great if other north Idaho/Wa folks (or wherever) could come too. I'm impressed with their dedication! You can respond to me to arrange a rendez-vous. Thanks! OK bye Max
  5. Hi ho, Trench Wench: Great video in all respects. Thank you. Steve says we need to ride together so I hope we can this 'season" (if you can call it that with the paltry amount of snow we have). Cheers
  6. Hi ho, Shane: I hope to make it in March too. Would definitely love to have a few more turns than last year and see y'all again. Thanks for letting us know:o) Cheers, Max
  7. hi ho, I hope you're healing. Had the same thing happen to me last year only by a HARDBOOTER! How's that for sucky? Dislocated shoulder then and 5 weeks (yup, count 'em weeks) later I had my brain drained for a subacute subdural hematoma. Just glad to be here and hoping for some snow. Heal fast and don't let the bastards get you down. Max
  8. Hi ho, I just went to OES and it was great to meet people and connect with other hardbooters. Mike and Bonnie did an inCREDible job organizing the whole thing. Kudos to them:o) I was somewhat apprehensive about it all since I just started hardbooting in Jan. But everyone was so cool and nice-it was great!! The one NOT great thing was that on Sat. I got blindsided by another hardbooter (I was downhill) on the first run of the day. Dislocated my left shoulder and I am now done for the season. And the really nasty thing is I don't know who it was. He stopped (had to cause he crashed too) but I was pretty miserable and didn't get a name-just sent him off to get help and never heard from him again. All other hardbooters who stopped while I waited were wonderful (Shane is my hero). This guy is a scumbag. So if you're out there you know who you are and you're also a chickensh** to not step up and take responsibility. (My actual words are MUCH saltier but I figure this forum doesn't really need to hear me spew). People don't treat people that way and ESPECIALLY not in "our" family of carvers. Thanks, all, for reading this far. Of course now winter has extended itself for another couple of weeks here in N. Idaho. Guess I'll just dream the turns. Aloha, Max aka grayontray
  9. Hi ho, I am a complete (and older) newbie to hardbooting (and posting to this forum). BUT-I am lovin' it! Am planning on going to OES for Fri/Sat. Hopefully, there will be some similarly skilled (or not so) folks there as well. Aloha, Max (aka grayontray)
