  1. Wow, that's a great story/experience. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Looks like I'll be there; a spot in my ski club just opened up for me. Chris, I hope you can make it. Give me a call if you get on the mountain. Lance I got your number, let's meet up Saturday morning. Do you have possession of the Coiler yet?
  3. This may help you find your answer: https://www.google.com/?q=us+import+tariffs#newwindow=1&q=us+import+tariffs
  4. John, Thanks for posting the videos. I knew I would learn a thing or two by watching other carvers in person. Seeing myself in action, I really need to step up my game.
  5. Unfortunately I had to take a plane out of Aspen on Monday and I missed the "Roasting of Carvers" at the Bomber house. So... is there any chance that the video will be posted? I'm curious to see my bad form in motion. I was in a lime green helmet, yellow jacket, blue pants. If you remember any comments I'm interested in hearing them. On a side note, are links to the photos that were taken on Ajax going to be posted somewhere or did I miss it? I think it was Riceball who was doing the photography?

  7. Lance, as much as I'd like to go to June, I don't think my Mountain Collective pass is good there (I need to verify). Plus I may be going up with a ski club with lodging and tour bus ride as part of the package deal so I won't be all that mobile, or sober. If you wanted to pick up the board in Mammoth or in LA, you are welcome to do that.
  8. I'm looking to be there too with a ski/board club. Most likely Friday night to Sunday afternoon. Lance, I'll bring the Saber for you to demo if I do end up going.
  9. F2 Silberpfeil 162. 9m scr and 18cm waist. Lots of quick short turns. Makes crowds manageable and keeps the speed down.
  10. Not for sale anymore as I really fell in lust with this board. <strike>I am selling my beloved Dynastar 3800 163. It carves very nice, and floats well in powder. It was brand new when I bought it and has a few days on it. One rock scrape in the base near the edge, but nothing bad, no core shots. Base is in 9/10 condition, no grinds, only minor edge tuning. $200 plus shipping, PayPal, Amazon and Chase Quick-Pay options available.</strike> Click on the photos below for larger images:
  11. *** SOLD *** I have a pair of Bomber Power Plates that I am not going to be using. Comes with 3/3 rings or 3/6, excellent condition yellow or like new red base pad. I'm looking for a quick sale. $140 shipped to the lower 48, PayPal, Amazon and Chase Quick-Pay options available. Click on the photos below for larger images:
  12. Post SES bump. $360 shipped anywhere in the lower 48. You will receive the pair on the right, they are much nicer in condition, the toe bails are NEW and the toe/heel blocks show minimal wear. Pick your configuration: yellow or red base pad, 3/3 or 3/6 or 6/6 cant rings, mounting hardware and a Bomber leash included. PayPal, Amazon and Chase Quick-Pay options available.
  13. And somehow curling is shown during prime time.
  14. I might be up there that weekend, the snow reports seem to be better for Mammoth lately.
  15. Not heard in the lift line, but on the slopes at Ajax this morning, maybe a hundred feet away some skiers asked each other "What the hell are those snowboarders doing?" I can only assume that they didn't like us coming down one by one leaving trenches in the snow. What was funny was that we heard them from that far away and at least for me it was motivation to rip a few good turns.
  16. Interested, however, I want to ride a few boards at SES before I commit to anything. What are the specs in the 172? What year is it, decambering, VSR? If you happen to have the 172 at SES, and I can ride it. I may want to come home with it. I'm purposely leaving room in the board bag for the return trip.
  17. I should also mention that I'm heading out to SES, so I can deliver in person at SES or have them shipped out to you. I will prep and box them up and have my roommate print a label and send them out for me. Thanks for looking/reading.
  18. Forgive the crappy white balance, I just wanted to get some photos up for you guys. You can click the image to get to the other images at full resolution. I'll make a set that have the best base pads, mounting discs, cant rings, blocks, bails and screws. Sam, once a set sells I will let you know if I have a spare 3 degree cant ring left. I want to give the option to the person buying complete bindings.
  19. Bumping again for some views. I'll even bring them to SES if you want.
  20. *** SOLD *** I don't need this extra set of Sidewinders like I thought I would. Choice of yellow or red base pad, blue heel/toe pads, 3 and 6 degree cant rings available, you choose your setup. I have multiple sets of sidewinders and I will send you the nicest set that I can make. All heel and toe blocks have adhesive from duct tape to protect the surface and hardware from snow/ice/water and show some wear in the anodized finish, toe clamps have minimal wear, all bails looks very fresh and are not stretched/bent out of shape. $360 shipped, PayPal, Amazon and Chase payment options available. Pics coming soon
  21. Doing a little snow dance for you.
  22. Interested, do you accept Paypal?
  23. 169 Coiler FC (all mountain for me) 170 Donek Proteus (I'm hopeful for hero groom) 163 Dynastar 3800 just in case it dumps.
  24. I'm not a Star Wars fan and I'd probably have a blank face too, but isn't a parsec a unit of distance?
  25. SES bound. Keep the thread posted regarding coverage and snow conditions. Mammoth is probably not worth the drive for me for the rest of the season, so MH on a Sunday could be fun if it's not a rock garden.
