  1. We can complete the transaction privately. I have your email and will contact you shortly.
  2. Bump for a great board, still has what looks to be a factory finish on the base.
  3. Still for sale, lots of people contacted me, but nobody converted. I don't usually put my email address up, but here goes. First $225 deposited into my account gets them. joe dot breese at gmail dot com
  4. GREAT IDEA! There is clear-ish spray on grip that Sector 9 uses for some of their boards. I need to find out how to get some.
  5. Sounds decent to me. However, I'm in a cashflow crunch. I'm waiting on a few clients to pay up on some invoices and I had to send out some money to a few contractors. If someone steps up with money, please don't hold them for me. I should have a better idea in a few days what's going on. I know $55 doesn't seem like a lot, I'm trying to follow some rules I set for myself earlier this year.
  6. You can always give back by kicking him in the knee cap and asking what type of pants he's wearing...
  7. Yep, I read that part. I figured for the price, I can't complain too much, and should be able to get them functional again without too much expense. They probably won't be in the boots too long or stress them too much. Let me know what you find as far as "compatible bushings". Who knows maybe you can actually tune the boots with different durometer bushings. Keep me posted on the shipping estimate.
  8. Very interested in these, please get me a final price and I'll see how much top ramen I have in my cabinets. I'm on a pretty severe budget, but would like to have a spare set of boots for people who are interested in trying hard booting and carving boards.
  9. Does anybody have some floor space? I'm trying to set up a back-up plan if my friends don't or can't make it up that weekend. I'm pretty self sufficient, I've spent the weekend in the back of my truck a few times. So I don't require much, just a hot shower and a 72"x40" plot of carpet for my sleeping pad and worldly possessions. You can send me an email through the site to keep this thread clean. Thanks! P.S. I plan on bringing my Coiler 169 with Sidewinders and Ultraprime 162 with Burton Race plates for demo. The Ultra Prime is up for sale too if anybody is interested.
  10. 1) nekdut - neil 2) wgarrow, will +1 3) Tim Kienitz 4) 2stroke 5) barryj? 6) Arclite - Julian 7) carvingchef - Andrea 8) Thomas 9) Wolfman - Rolf (pending on business trip, trying to get from under it, looking good so far) At least we won't need the boom box, car stereos a plenty! 10) breesej - Joe
  11. I'm planning on being there. I just need to roundup some friends to share the gas/lodging expense.
  12. looks like I'm getting wedges and bushings this afternoon. Thanks for the info.
  13. I have a spare top mount kick tail deck with a 26" wheelbase and two sets of 180mm trucks lying around, one Bear 852, the other Paris 50*. Wedging/de-wedging? I'm not doing 261 miles at Daytona, just a few miles on the beach path. But I also want to be able to lay down some nice laid out turns with the slide gloves too.
  14. *** SOLD *** I bought this board here and I'd like to send it back into the wild. I recently bought a Coiler Free Carve and prefer riding that to the Ultra Prime plus I'd like to get a shorter Alp instead, something a little less intense for the days I want to cruise and not think too much. This thread has all the details and photos on the board, I had the edges honed and a basic hot wax done when I got the board, but it could use another coat of wax on the edges. It's been out for two days at Mammoth. I'm not trying to make money, just get it back. $125 plus shipping Thanks for looking.
  15. Details here: http://catek.com/OS2-plate-binding.htm I have UPZ boots in Mondo 26 so I can't tell you how large they will go.
  16. *** SOLD *** I'm not using these bindings anymore. I have a few spares parts like toe bails and heel/toe blocks Please note, the Burton 3D/4x4 combo discs in this photo are NOT included, everything else is. $225 shipped to your door in the lower 48.
  17. Saturday was WINDY and partly cloudy in the AM. Chair 12 had some good runs. Weather was really good on Sunday.
  18. You can forget about Bomber Power plates until next year, Bomber doesn't have any three hole discs in stock; plus you are potentially introducing cant and lift into the equation. What does she feel are the limitations of her current setup? If she can get the board on edge and boot out, then the bindings are probably fine, she may need a more carve specific board, the Burton Custom is an all mountain board with a middle of the road flex pattern. And once she gets a stiffer board, you will notice that soft boots and bindings can't drive enough power to the edges. I'm pretty sure with her current setup she could overpower the board. But is she? The next time you guys are going up to Mammoth, let me know. I'd like to soft boot it with you guys.
  19. Ride CAD are pretty good if you can find them.
  20. Bumping this up, I'd really like to sell these bindings for gas money to get up to the mountains.
  21. Hey, Let's all meet at Mill Cafe at 9AM in front of the outdoor fire pit. Look for a neon green helmet and white pants, that will be me.
