  1. Yes they are. If you reply with your zip code I can get a quote on shipping.
  2. Please include your zip code for the most accurate shipping quote.
  3. Cleaning out the garage to finance a ski pass. I moved from California to a mountain state and realized during the move that I have a LOT of snowboard stuff. These boots were bought in anticipation of being used but it never happened. The liners are BRAND NEW and never molded, but obviously installed into the boot shell. I'm asking for $325 plus shipping.
  4. SOLD Clearing out the snowboard closet... I moved from California and saw a bunch of stuff I'm just not going to use any more. These boots are one of them. I bought them as a parts boot, they don't have an upper cuff locking mechanism, you can add BTS to these and they would work fine. I'm asking $50 plus the cost of shipping.
  5. I'm putting up my boots for sale! I've used these for the past few years and will be transitioning to UPZ boots. I believe these are the softest of the Track 700 asymmetric flexing boot. I bought these as used shells, added the BTS and replaced the cuff rivets with screws as the rivets broke. I will include the rivets so you can use them if you need to and can find .a boot repair place with a riveter tool. The boots do not include the top velcro strap as they didn't have them when purchased. in the photos, there are no thermo liners in the boots, however I found some very slightly used and still fresh smelling basic liners from Deeluxe that are now included. Also included are some extra cuff straps that were a bit too long for me, I have the short cuff straps currently installed. I'm asking for $225 plus the cost of shipping. If you are a reasonable distance from Santa Fe NM, we can work some sort of meet up and save on the shipping costs, and it gets me out of town for a few hours.
  6. Oops! Those sold a while. I apologize for not updating the ad.
  7. Have you considered that the weather you are experiencing has contributed to your experience? Warmer temps tend to soften plastic boots made with certain types of plastic. AT boot buyers are aware of this since they want consistent flex, there is a Polyurethane vs Pebax vs Grilamid vs Carbon trade off. Track 700's are motly likely made of Polyurethane since they are heavy and were made a long time ago before Pebax was an option. Also the spring time snow conditions could be contributing to massive edge hold, plus the warmer temps softening the boots, you could be fooled into thinking that the boots are breaking down or softening with age. Next January when it's icy and you have the race tongues in, you swear the boot are too stiff and you wanted the softer boots you had before. I've been running Track 700s for a few years with springs and in the springtime, they tent to feel soft and in Dec/Jan my setup appear to be way too stiff.
  8. I'm looking to clear out a bunch of snowboards, one of them is a relatively decent powder board. I don't ride this now that I have a different powder board, but this is a pretty awesome ride when it's deep and soft. Don't confuse it for a carving board, strictly powder and super playful. Images will be posted soon, once I go over the edges and put a fresh wax job on it. I'm thinking that $150 to your door in continental US is a fair price. If shipping is less than $50, I'll refund the difference.
  9. You may want to look into an integrated helmet/goggle. the Uvex 300 come to mind. I tried them on this season and they are on my list of must haves for next season. No frames, straps, etc, just a really nice design. https://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=uvex+300&tag=googhydr-20&index=aps&hvadid=233146143106&hvpos=1t1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15144243563149798165&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9030504&hvtargid=kwd-301965042617&ref=pd_sl_2ythymlks9_e
  10. A spare would be nice, but then I'd be hoarding boards and wouldn't allow another person to enjoy this little gem. It's tempting for sure. As far as angles, in that video I was somewhere in the +30/+9 and I wasn't getting the highback support on the heel-side turns. I'm now riding +24/-6, I like to keep about 30 degrees splay in soft boots. These angles allow me to slash turns if I need to, I have enough flexibility to make a decent carved heel-side turn, and I'm easily able to look up the hill on each toe-side turn so I know if/when a straight-liner is coming a lot easier than if I was more forward facing. Stance is about 22 inches, centered on the inserts and I have a 31" inseam. I have not tried the Pow inserts, I have a dedicated powder board for those days, but this could be an awesome travelling one board quiver killer. I'm certainly treating it as such. For example. I rode my Coiler Nirvana one day at Bald Mountain/Snow Valley and the next Day was on the SG Soul. A week later I took a few boards to Colorado, and Rode the SG Soul one day at Keystone, then Vail. A few days later I rode one day in Aspen on my Coiler, then off to Telluride for a Soul day, the next day was a powder day so I rode my Donek Nomad. Then a few days later I spent another 2 days back in Aspen on the Soul carving up Copper and Spar Gulch where I figured out my forward lean, and 3rd strap setup.
  11. Barry, This is a great soft boot carving board, I have a 159 XT too and it accomodates my size 8 boot and bindings perfectly with my preferred stance angles. I also like that it's Guy Fawkes on the top sheet and not the Navajo Indian of the later models. I've been riding this more than my hard boot boards and it's a damn good board to ride, it took me a while to get used to the width and settingup some new soft boot bindings but it sure does hold an edge. I wouldn't be too worried about the length, it's pretty stable for how "short it is". Here's a video of me, with only 2 days on it and some old bindings that were not as supportive and way too stiff to handle variable terrain. Since this video was take, I'm actually much more comfortable and the board will handle almost any groomed terrain. Since this filming, I've changed to a lighter, and more supportive binding that is just as stiff edge to edge, but softer tip to tail, added a lot more highback lean, reduced my binding angles, and I've incorporated a booster strap to give me a pseudo 3rd strap to help initiate toe side turns a lot quicker. It rips up the groom like no other soft boot set up I've been on. Buy it and try it it out. If you don't like it, I'm pretty sure you can twist my arm to take it off your hands, because I'm going to wear mine out in a few seasons.
  12. I've ridden my Bomber 4mm lite plate with soft boots and it does work, it's just not worth the weight for the board I was riding. I'd like to offer an alternative: Some soft boot bindings are more compliant in the heel cups, being comprised of pliable plastics and kevlar cord, allowing the high backs and base to flex nose to tail while still providing a very stiff platform from edge to edge. If you are riding stiff bindings, maybe getting something a little more soft in the heel cups, adding a velcro strap to the high back to get a pseudo 3rd strap for more immediate toe-side response could satisfy the desire for some chop-slop but keep responsiveness edge to edge. For reference I was using an original SteepWater 171, Ride CAD bindings that were metal bases with super stiff carbon high backs. I weigh 155 lbs and could barely flex the 171, adding the plate did seem to "soften" the board and allow it to flex a little better. It was a fun experiment and I would ride it again if I still had all the equipment.
  13. I'm dropping out. I thought I could buy these but monthly finances say otherwise.
  14. Interested can you get a quote shipped to 91505?
  15. I had my boot blow out on Snowmass a few years ago and visited a shop in the village. It may have been Aspen Sports right next to the ticket window. Anyway I talked to the oldest guy working the boot fitting equipment since he had the most experience with saving the day type of engineering and he came up with a very similar solution to Dave’s post. the Deeluxe rivets look nicer, but you are going to be hard pressed to find a shop that can rivet the boot back together. A t-nut, washer and bolt from a ski boot repair kit is a permanent fix. i can show off my solution this morning.
  16. Sent out on Tuesday, you should be getting it today or tomorrow.
  17. What about a-basin on Friday/ Saturday, Feb 2/3? I'll be there.
  18. Just cover the shipping. I’ll send you a PM with payment details when it goes out. I’m on the road today and part of tomorrow. The disc will go out on Monday or Tuesday. If by chance you are coming out to aspen for the unofficial session, I can hand it to you in person.
  19. I found it! Send me your address and I'll send it out.
  20. I may have one sitting in my box-o-goodies.
  21. My daily/tow is a GMC Yukon. I had a WRX with Bilsteins and anti-sway bars, Recaro fixed back seat. No matter what I did to the WRX, it was not as fun as the lightweight, track prepared RX7 that I have. I was also doing a lot of road trips with the WRX and driving out to a Sun Valley, Aspen, Telluride was a huge pain when trying to load gear, I had to be selective which what I brought, now I can bring almost anything. I will have to say I miss the high speed travel, passing power and “fuel economy” of the WRX over the Yukon, but the Yukon is a better fit for me.
