  1. Very interested! Which year and is this a camber or rocker profile?
  2. Still up for sale. It's a great board, just not what I was looking for.
  3. Still up for sale. Great boards for busting through crud snow and lots of fun all over the mountain
  4. Corey, Understanding your body and making modifications to your training is probably the most important aspect of training. It's good to see that you are taking an analytical approach to this and not just saying that XYZ program doesn't work. I've suffered from the boring but big routine myself, mainly because it's boring and I don't really want to get big as I have tailored dress shirts and pants for work and I would be throwing thousands of dollars away if I got much larger. My accessory work typically consists of dynamic lifts (snatch and C&J) at much lower weight, and less volume. This has worked for me, however I still embrace the maximal effort on the plus lifts. For me, the plus 3-5 at the end lets me know I am lifting the proper weight during the core of the 531 program. On a lot of my lifting days, I call it a day after the main lifts and just go inside to drink a beer.
  5. Is there a matching Onesie?
  6. You're making a lot assumption on his gear. I've seen it and have ridden on Ryan's personal setup and it goes beyond "solid-highback 3-strap bindings". His duck stance will probably not go away for a very long time since the demographic he caters doesn't want to ride a forward stance, it wants duck, it wants pipe, it wants jumps, spins and butters. I believe the point is to try and get a "decent enough" EC style carve with duck stance. So let's try and help Ryan out by providing some feedback that is not picking apart his stance.
  7. In the 3rd photo, you can see the sticker, sort of. It looks like 26 Mondo
  8. I've have a great time with these boards and I bought two just in case one broke or I wore it out. These two have to go to make room for their replacements. Pics coming soon. Asking for $100 for the used one, and $120 for the unused one.
  9. I'd like to sell a board I bought here. I's not exactly what I was looking for and it should be in a different home. Here is the post: The board has been waxed with Dominator Graphite Base repair wax and then again with their Zoom wax, edges are in great shape. Selling for $215 shipped anywhere in the lower 48. If you are local and want to pick it up, I'll take the shipping cost out.
  10. Be there or be square. Just by using that phrase I realize I am now "square"
  11. If the Flow bindings are not sold, would you bring them to the demo tent at TTC?
  12. I swap. I used to bring several carving boards and would swap from a Donek Rev 185 to a Proteus 170 to a Coiler AMT to something else. Although it did seem to have a positive impact, the mental conditioning of seeking the perfect ride/turn/feel with minicule changes was detrimental to my experience on the mountain. I've been getting into bringing only two, maybe three boards, one wide-ish carving board for the groomers a burly free-ride board like a Steepwater for the rest of the mountain, and a powder board if there is fresh snow in the forecast. I change only for the conditions. So, are all those boards roughly the same in feel? Maybe just bring one carve board, and the 3800, or a twin and softies to play with switch riding.
  13. I might be up there for a day trip on Sunday, but will be over at Mammoth to start the day.
  14. And this base was not rock damaged, it was my other Coiler that was damaged, I sold that board a while ago and got these two boards confused. There is some damage to the base, hence the low sale price.
  15. Some detailed photos of the base imperfections. The board was was laying on top of another board, so the last photo has two edges in the frame.
  16. SOLD I ride the little brothers of this board, a 162 in similar vintage and it's younger fatter brother, a 163 Vantage. I like F2 boards, they ride very nice. I don't ride hard enough and/or don't weigh enough to bent this board proper. Before I put some storage wax on it I know there were some base issues and want to offer it up to someone who will ride this board. It's old and a little beat up on the top sheet. Ride her hard and put her away wet. $75 plus shipping.
  17. SOLD 171cm x 18cm. Tight turning package, titanal and p-Tex top sheet I rode this exclusively for a while and now I'm moving on to shorter wider boards. It was Art Tanaka's (ExcelsiorTheFathead) board. Built for a lighter rider in the sub 160 range. If you search hard enough, I'm sure you can find his ad that I purchased from. I had an off trail excursion with this board and the base was damaged and subsequently repaired professionally. The base has binding suck, but a good structure to it, the edges are still good and are beveled at -1/-2 base/edge. Enjoy the pics. Asking price is $250 plus cost of shipping.
