  1. Just curious. I was looking up www.ebay.de which is the German ebay. Has anyone bought anything through there or is a pain in the neck? Seems to me there is a lot of great equipment we would love to ride but we don't normally have our hands on due to the shipping costs or something. Anyone have any feedback or forward any past threads from the past. I've searched on it here but haven't found much except those who have bought Virus boards, etc. Thanks.
  2. Hey bhaysd, There are some hardbooters around usually riding all-mountain boards in this part of the state. I don't get over to the Big Sky area or Bridger too often. But if you are over on the western part of the state hit me up. Whitefish does have a few hardcore locals that ride hardboots religiously. you should definitely check out WTF at the end of the month. Its a great event. Although I don't know if I'll make it or not this year. Hopefully for a few days.
  3. My Lib Tech Skunk Ape with camber rides great. I can not say it carves any better than a traditional edge, but it does not skid out at all. I like it. I'd buy another board with Magne-Traction.
  4. yeah, I felt woozy watching that. haha but it was cool. Sounds like you guys are having a pretty good start to your season.
  5. I agree with OhD. Its a fun place. I live in Montana now but am an Oregonian. I have been to Hoodoo and always have a great time. I love those smaller ski areas with lots of charm. You will have a blast.
  6. I hosted my first Thanksgiving too! It went over great. Just thought I'd let you guys know.
  7. yeah, Bobby. that is funny though.
  8. I sure love my Donek's. I do miss Bachelor too. I'm in Missoula, Montana now. I bought a brand new GS 180 olympic back in 08'. And last year I got a hold of an Axcess 167 that I absolutely love.
  9. I love this! Really? what are people thinking? So funny! Its not our problem that people have to hop our trenches. We got there first. :D
  10. [quote= I'm calling D Sub right now to get active again LOL! welcome back D Sub! haha Good to hear that you are the new moderator! That is awesome.
  11. I jumped right to vid 4. great riding. my favorite kind when there is just a few inches of pow on the groomers. Its really cool to see the young guys carving near the end! One of the best carving videos overall. Nice job!
  12. I have broken an older model same board a few years ago. when I bought it used it had a slight cosmetic crack in front of the rear inserts. I believe it was the 01' or 02' model. I loved that board! It rode great with no weakness from those stress cracks on the topsheet. but it couldn't handle the stress of the terrain park on a sunny Spring afternoon. It still hurts to talk about it.
  13. Kinpa and I are planning on heading to Lookout on Friday Feb. 8th. Come join us!
  14. I'll be there Thurs. and Fri. next week! wooo hoo! Should be a lot of fun again! See you all Thurs. am
  15. You are going to love it, Chris. I've been to both mountains. I believe Big Sky has more wide open runs but both have great grooming. Both areas have different terrain. Its definitely worthwhile to go to both areas and explore. The combo ticket for the same day is overkill so I would choose one or the other each day. Staying at Big Sky is a better too. There is some sort of nightlife there if you want to get out. You could get some powder so don't show up empty handed with only your race board! haha
  16. Can I get some more inserts please? haha 23 inch stance
  17. Great looking board, Mike! Bonnie, you are an awesome wife! its sweet for Bachelor and beyond!
  18. I'll head out that way too. See you guys in the morning.
  19. Hey Hero, I started to find alternatives a few years ago because it was tough to find the high end gear. remember I bought those Flows from you at OES a couple years ago? I got some high back clickers last year and really love them. Then I found these boots at the ski swap here in Missoula in Nov. I am stoked. I'll probably be riding clickers for years now. Hope you are getting some of that Oregon powder! Take care, Dan. See you later. Ed
  20. Ok, looks as Kinpa and I will be up there tomorrow on Sat. for some sweet groomers and hopefully the snow in the trees is stacking up. See you up there.
