That crack looks insane slopetool!! Thanks a lot for the information. I will look into using a spacer to reduce the stress in the board when using the FR2's. I am a little worried that I will kill my Swoard Dual the same way... Unfortunately I have no other binding option with me.

I have not tried the newest vesion of the flows. However I had the NXT-FSE, but was never satisfied with the fit. I could not get I tight enough without making it impossible to enter the binding... Boots were Flows Rift. Now I have the Catek FR2 and Driver X, which I am very pleased with. The Nidecker carbon ICT is also a nice binding, but I think the price is a little too high compared to the quality (I just broke one of their high-backs yesterday, so my judgement might be a little of :)

I just took it to a local guy. He seemed to know his stuff, but what do I know... At least he spoke english :) He was not sure if it was just the base or also the core. Is there a possibility that it could be just the P-tex which is craked? I will ride my Dual tomorrow instead... But I will miss the tanker for the big powder lines (which is the reason of being here :lol:)

Hi, Thanks for the feedback! I am not completely sure when it happened, put I think it must have been in the powder with all me weight on the back... I am only 70kg or 155lbs. It is the tail. Why is that good news?

Hi I am in Niseko at the moment and having a blast! ;) However my equipment is not equally happy... Today I cracked my 172 "Dani Kiwi Meier" in the area where the rear binding is attached. The largest crack is at the edge of the inserts, and there are a couple of other cracks where the base material shifts to the gray one. See pictures. The board is the 2010 model and have been ridden approx. 3 weeks. The bindings I used are Catek FR2. Do you think it can be fixed? Best regards Jakob Duus

I tried to do my homework before buying, and I actually believed that I had read every single FR2 related post outthere... - but I guess I missed something, because I have not seen anyone else complaine by being ripped off :AR15firinCatek

Hi! I have purchased a pair of Catek FR2 bindings directly from Caron Alpine tecnology. I am very excited to get my hands on these nice bindings after reading several goods things about them... But the problem is that I after more than a month have recieved nothing :( I have tried to email and call Caron Alpine tecnology without luck. I have tried to fill out their online request as well. This is a little annoying since the winter is coming and I have paid/lost 450$... How do I get in contact with these guys?
