  1. I raced again this year at the NASTAR Finals in Winter Park. Conditons were interesting with intermittant sun and snow. The temperatures were higher than the specified range for the wax, but I used it anyway. The start was very flat, where the wax is critical. I believe the wax helped me win my class by 2 and 3 seconds over the 2nd place racer. Thanks Tony for the great product. Arne

    Yo Lci!!

Thanks guys, the snow sucked today, you must have used it all up yesterday. It was cut up windpacked crud on 8 and 4. 9 was closed due to the wind. The carving on 6 and 1 was pretty good however. Arne
  3. I am awaiting the check for the board, but still have the bindings.
  4. Hi Pat, Thanks for the photos. It was great to see you again this year. Take care of those knees and we will see you next year. Arne
  5. The Catek's are still available. They are 4X4. I don't believe they are 3d compatible. Would like to get $100 plus an estimated $15, for shipping. Thanks, Arne
  6. The Volkl has a 19 cm waist with a 12.8 M 3D sidecut. It is about 10 years old but has less than 30 days of use. There is plenty of life left in this board. I would like to sell with the bindings if possible, but would sell for $ 100 plus shipping. As the original post indicates, it is in near perfect condition, especially for its age. Arne
  7. John I would like to sell as a package, but if that doesn't happen soon, I will sell you the bindings for $100. I will be at WP for NASTAR next weekend but if I don't sell the package by the next weekend, they are yours. Arne
  8. Older Metal Volkl with Catek World Cup Bindings with a little foam to provide some lateral flex. Top and base in near perfect condition. $200 plus shipping (est of $30) 3D variable sidecut.

Lovey 3-21 :biggthump:biggthump Great day of carving with about 14 riders. Excellent carving on chairs 2, 6, 1, 8, and 3 at the valley. (4 was a little iffy) Everyone is bringing their A game. Thanks for a great day. Arne
  10. If anyone needs a ride from Morrison to Loveland tomorrow am, let met know. I have room for 2.
  11. It is time to put on the shirts that Pete provided. Let everyone know who the real LCI riders are. Just a thought. See you in the am. Arne
  12. My daughter interviewed Daron for the station she works for in Chico, CA. Here is a link to the site where the video is located. Just click on the Daron Rahlves story. Arne http://www.khsltv.com/mediacenter/local.aspx
  13. I qualified on the NASTAR course at WP and Copper MT. The WP course is on Bashor. It is fairly flat, but the day I raced it, it was set with the gates way off set, ie very turny. I believe that the national snowboard course will be set on Lower Cramner run which is a bit steeper. Don't know how it will be set. I plan on attending, as I had a good time at Steamboat last year. Arne:lol:

  15. Thought I would try out Copper Mt.on Tuesday. It was a nice sunny day; cool in the morning, but warming up quickly. Then snow was very firm, icy by Colorado standards, with numerous loose and solid rocks in the snow. Several of the runs had ridges in the groom that would launch you in the middle of a turn. Did some damage to the Virus. I rode from about 9:30 until noon, before I went back to Loveland. Conditions much better, softer snow, no rocks, and no ridges in the groom. It was about 10 degrees colder and windier, but it was worth it. Rode until 3:30 when the runs were nearly empty. It was taco tuesday, with 50 cent tacos, and $2.75 16 oz. PBR, doesn't get much better. Copper Sucks!
  16. Stan, I saw you at the top of the Olympia lift as I was heading back to MJ. I yelled at you, but my guess is the tunes were cranking. As Arnold says, " I'll be back". Arne
  17. Great carving day at WP yesterday. Good to ride with Stan, Mat and Steve. Thanks for showing us the carvilicous runs. Not used to good snow, sun, and no wind. Arne:)
  18. Anyone riding WP today. I plan on going today. Arne
  19. I am in Steamboat this week hoping for more snow to come, which they really need. Can't make it to WP this week, maybe next week. Thanks for the invite. Keep the snow coming! Arne

    Yo Lci!!

Snow was a bit firmer today than Tuesday. I would suggest a good race tune for Sunday. Hope to see you there, I am finally back on the carving board. Arne:lol:
  21. As Dustin said, it is the same year. Here is the photo.
  22. I have a 172 with about 20 days on it. With the weight of the bindings (old Catek world cup) pushing down on it, there is only about 1/4 inch of camber. It rides great and has a lot of life. Arneburner
  23. Stan, Didn't get the email, so I changed my email address on bomber, and then I was unable to post. Fin just fixed it this am. What about WP on Friday? Arne
