  1. Do you know what year the Nidecker was made? I was able to find the specs but not the year. Thanks, Arne
  2. I thought I sprained my ankle last spring riding at Alpine Meadows when I hyper flexed it until I got this x-ray. This is on my right (front) ankle so I think it helps me lock in my toe side turns. Getting the spur removed next week so now my toe side turns will probably suck as bad as my heel side turns.

    Yo Lci!!

A nice cool day for solo carving at Lovey. An inch or two of new over a nice firm groom. Firecut, Roulette and Chets (under 8) were nicely groomed. Two fun boards to ride. Should be more fun tomorrow with Tony and Kevin to ride with.

    Yo Lci!!

I plan to be there Wednesday thru Saturday. Looking forward to riding with the crew.
  9. I bought the same as above but am afraid to cook them. Do they really shrink that much as they are way too big to fit the way they are? Please assure me that they will fit before I cook them. Thanks, Arne
  10. bump - one pair of TD1's left with 6 degree cants and bumpers. $100 including shipping to lower 48.
  11. any interest in an even trade for my 172 Oxygen Proton?
  12. After about 10 years on Raichle AF 600's with blue bts, I bought a pair of UPZ 10's, the grey Virus edition. The Raichle's were getting really soft. Tried on the head's, but they were too wide. Last spring I tried the UPZ's with the factory liner-not good. Too much heel lift, shin bang and presure points. Over the summer I cooked my old Raichle themofit liners (already packed out) and put them in. Have ridden on them 5 days this fall with no pain and great performance. I was having some issues with my heelside turns with the old boots. Heelside turns are good now. Like DT, I visited my friend Bola at All Board Sports in Boulder. Boots really need to be tried on before purchase.
  13. Boots and bts sold. Bindings still available.
  14. Raichle 27.5 (no liner) with bts yellow and blue top springs, and blue bottom springs $100. Will sell bts w/ extra springs for $75 SOLD!!! TD1's with 2-6 degree lifts $100SOLD!!! all prices do not include shipping cost. a r n e s a a b @ g m a i l
  15. 19.5 cm waist- 14M sidecut The board and bindings are in excellent condtion. Board has about .5 inch of camber. Just a few minor scrapes on top from bad skiers trying to do a wedge while getting off the lift. The bindings are World Cup as indicated by Oldvolvo's rule. I can't edit the title. $350 for both or $250 for board and $100 for bindings. BINDINGS SOLD!! BOARD IS STILL AVAILABLE . email a r n e s a a b @ g m a i l Bump-Price reduced on Board to $225.
  16. I tested the Plum wax at Loveland last week. I was glad that my new boots have good treads because you need it to slow down in the lift maze and when getting off the lift. This wax was very fast across the flats. Using the mytracks on my phone, I hit 49.3 mph on Home Run near the bottom. The temperature started at 14F and warmed to 23F. At these temps the regular HHRW would run fine, but so did this warmer plum wax. I hope to test the upper range of the wax tomorrow. Thanks Tony for the chance to test another great wax.

    Yo Lci!!

We picked an excellent day for our first day this season. With the 8 inches of new snow from earlier in the week, which was nicely groomed, the mid-winter snow condtions were really good. After a few hours, it got a little cut up (wonder why?) and it was time for lunch. Anyway, it was great riding with you guys again.

    Yo Lci!!

Thanks Mario and Phylis, Great BBQ as always. It was nice to see the LCI gang in the summer. I thought it was hot in Denver until I arrived in Iowa City today. 100 degrees with about the same humidity. Arne

Gate training, wax testing, helicopters, lift construction, and six inches of new slush on top. Good way to start off the summer.

    Vist Plate

I am interested in the Vist plate. Does it include the standard hardware or the stainless screws? Do you have an idea what it weighs? Thanks, Arne
  22. The boots all fit differently. I just purchased a pair of UPZ 10's because they were the best fit for me. I have a pair of Raichle AF600's that are pretty shot. I tried the Head Statos, Deluxe 225, and the UPZ's. The Head boots are wider overall. The Deluxe 225's are narrow in the forward part of the foot and wider in the heel. The AF 700's are most likely wider in the fore foot (didn't have my size in these). The UPZ's are narrower in the heel and wider in the fore foot area. If possible, try on the boots before buying. I would not buy online without trying them on. I went to All Board Sports in Boulder, CO.
  23. I can bring some mustard, Ketchup and chips.
