Use a bench grinder to slowly remove material here to soften the flex. Jim

I dremeled the toe and heels and took the tongue off . Then grind off the tongue near the ankle areas to soften up the flex . I loved my flexons ! Jim

A Volkl Cross 167 might work too ? I have one and its pretty good in the park when riding with softboot friends. Jim

Sorry I am a little late . Tuesday .. A little foggy at the bottom but sunny at the top. Opened Cascade and upper Heather . Nice riding at the top with changing snow as you go lower with a crust layer but no problems while on a board. Should be great grommers all week. Have fun Bryan and be safe :D

Hey Bryan you looked great carving up the powder off vista . The headhunter looks like a go to board ! It's funny I was riding the silvertanker today and heard a group of softbooters grumbling about about the @ss that chewed there heads off after bumping your board ! I had to laugh ! They remembered the first day we rode them . I rode up with the group of 3 on older gear you talked about . I was just behind you a little on vista and tried to catch you but your so fast ! Call in the am if you go up . I am on the fence also . Jim

Had a nice day riding with Bryan, Mike, Dan , on alpine boards . The light was a little flat but the new snow really helped conditions as the groom was good. Did a heather run from upper A zone accross to ??? and found good powder with my touring friends Maureen and Marty. Pic of big avy debris that went through heather canyon on sunday night . Jim

Hey my tanker 192 like that did that same thing right on the edge of the ering and cracked the core and dimpled the base . Another reason why the white 02-03 ones rule the world . There has been a few for sale recently and they can take the abuse of plates , jumping , and whatever . Just ask Bryan ....

I rode that exact Nitro Epic in regular foot for many years with burton 5 hole variplate bindings. I ripped the bindings out of this board several times and had to t-nut it keep them on.... I finally broke the board in half after going over the handlebars on a spring day on Mt Hood. When it broke I was forced to buy my next alpine board which was a Ride Kildy 169.:) Jim

hmm , I think riding good powder on a 2k tanker with some cool natural features to play on can be very "surfish"....

+ 1 but use Scarpas in the bc and AF700's for resort riding.
