I was origonally from wisconsin, (state of snowmobile bar-hopping), so of course I have tried this with a waterskiing tow rope. It is actually alot of fun in new powder! However it was back in the early 80's on a burton performer experimental.... It might be fun to try again ... Jim

Another great EC vid. What do guys think of the little style move in the transtions where they do a little pop from edge to edge? Do you think this is from the board unloading out of the carve or a hop to get over the uneven snow from the snow grooming ? Anyways, it looks kinda cool ? Jim

Nice riding today with Bonnie, Eric, Brian and Mike ... We couldnt ask for better conditions ...20F 16" new... for the 1st day at hood. We can all say it was skiers powder today as compared to our usaul NW stuff. Lets hope this will be a banner year for the NW Cascades, cause it couldnt get any better at the start. Lets all try again this next Wednesday. Jim

The products look pretty slick, including the spray-on waxs... I am all for something simple that works great (other than swix f4 wipe-on)... Hope someone has tried them ....let us know? Jim

I will be there also , My niece lives near Tacoma...so I could drive up with some of the PDX crew and stay there.... How about something in December? I know this has been asked alreadly.... But can anyone recomend several good helmets to look for to buy ???? I guess i am one the few that hasnt started wearing one ....but this year I will... Brands and specific models are helpful so that can look online or on ebay... Thanks in advance.....JIM:)

I have xp home also.... the bitorrent download took seconds and installed so fast that I hadn't thought it worked right......it gave no message or need for reboot . I then started the download and it worked...? Good luck ....The stuff is peer to peer so the more people that have it who are online the faster it works/downloads... Jim

I downloaded with the bittorent method that Nils and Jason Watkins set up....25min via cable modem. You must use the link provided in the old forum ...... Perhaps you could share some of your snowboard downloads too? What do you have? Jim

I bought a Rad Air Tanker Khc "carbon honeycomb core" 192 off ebay last spring new for $125. I have never riden it yet , does anyone have any experience with these. I plan to use it as my powder board this year ? Will it last ? I think it has a combo wood-honeycomb core ....but it is sure a lot lighter than my Nitro fury 176 (my old powder board).
