  2. I always wonder about these words. o-tang => is this word supposedly o as orang meaning man and tang as utan mean forrest so u read as orang utan durians => as we all know as the stinky "juicy creamy" spiky fruit? They (the wheel maker) must have been in Kalimantan/Borneo Thanks for sharing the vid....fortunate for us here in YVR snow still coming - Grouse Mt extend till May 15 and Blackcomb till end of May. Cheers RT
  3. (Jeff, sorry for pitch in here) Jack, the 2010 T700T is stiffer: is that from the xtra booster strap added or the plastic shell is already stiffer thn 2009? Thx, RT
  4. Interesting, we (YVR Carvers) been thinking about it. Questions: Does this way made it slippery for walking? Do you have to apply every day after use? Does anyone try with soap? Thx, RT

  6. Share my exp in Track 700T still use 'em. I use BTS (Blue) for Carving & Pow. On Pow "upper" buckle release 1 notch. I'm 6' - 220lbs with gear, never in Burton thou... so can't compare stiffness. Hope this wil help, RT
  7. Problem SOLVED!! Replace Ankle "Strap" to a shorter 18cm instead original 20cm straps come with the boot - Parts courtesy YYZCanucks (Thanks to DM). No more movement inside shell, no more heel lift. RT

  9. Crew: Perry aka xy9ine - Kessler Black 174, Pierre as him self - Virus Scalpel 173, me - Prior WCRM173 Arived 15 min before 10, found out chairs was up running since 9AM (confirm by "Hooplah") for the 3 day race. Good thing this time the race tracks move to Ashley Mc Ivor former Cascade instead blocking 3/4 of JJA former PGS. Visibility in the morning was unpleasant and not cosistent and stay that way till around 1PM when suddenly the sun decided to show up all the way. Snow condition was perfect extreme carving at JJA and it hold till around 11.30. Tried Rainbow - cruds gravel size boll and icy patch, Humpty Dumpty - chops & icy. Crazy Raven was next best condition after amazingly nice firm Windjammer. About 1PM head back to Rainbow and that was the best snow ever for that day. Snow turn softer with firm layer under but still fast. Reduced F Cant "Toe" to 45; R Cant "Heel" to 60. With the minor adjustment: heel side became easier to lay low for extreme carving but still have difficulties on toe side. Next play Tuesday April 19, 2011. RT(57)
