  2. CYPRESS MOUNTAIN OPENS TOMORROW - Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM We are absolutely stoked to have the EARLIEST OPENING DAY IN OUR HISTORY and to be the FIRST SKI AREA IN BRITISH COLUMBIA TO OPEN for the 2011/12 Snow Season! Over the last week our Amazing Snowmaking Crew has turned 4.75 million gallons of water into 30 cm, or about one foot of snow, covering an area equivalent to 24 football fields on the north face of Black Mountain!! Our Great Grooming Crew has jumped in to spread the Man Made Snow deep over Upper Maelle Ricker’s Run (Upper Fork) and then fashioned a pretty nice “ski-out” through mid Jasey Jay (PGS) and on down to the bottom of Eagle Express. We have received about 12 cm of natural snow this morning and the snow continues to fall so we will hope for even better conditions tomorrow! For our early start to the 2011/12 La Nina Winter Season tomorrow, we will have the Eagle Express Quad open FOR INTERMEDIATE AND EXPERT Skiers and Riders ONLY - accessing only the terrain noted above. kAZ, thanks for the heads up. Cheers RT

  7. "The dampening has been increased in comparison with the Gen3, giving more comfort on ice and bad snow. Rubber has been added in large quantities and the core has been slightly modified. The ATC Matrix technology, that involves a set of pieces of carbon, stays a Swoard exclusivity. http://www.extremecarving.com/swoard/swoard2.html Gosh more boards to think about... RT
  8. <iframe width="640" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/lmwtmqJEI-Q" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Keep nose stay up for longest time and gentle pressure from waist to tail..definetly the PILOTs is an alpine carver ;) RT
  9. Here some information for a start: http://www.livestrong.com/article/94787-aquatic-knee-exercises/ I also heard about the underwater treadmills, where the excercise is mimic every day walk but without the body weight... Good luck, keep us update... RT
  10. Yeah agree a good physio can make a big difference. Is this carving injury? You might want to look at aqua exercises, less weight at the begininng of healing the better. Take your time and make sure it heal well. RT
  11. I luv those I6 engine...what a torque they can produce... Thanks for sharing & get well soon, hope to make some turn together this season in Whistler. RT
  12. Flywalker san, I have to add 1 more since I've ridden all 3 types: The Race Plate with holes in metal plate come also with rubber gasket attach facing upside down. This way the bindings is only sitting on those rubber shapes dimples (or what ever u wanna call). I think this binding is only for light & non aggressive riders since the metal plate edge can dibb and marks the deck surface. I know "ruwi" use this version and no problem. The best is where the rubber lay flat with the dimples shape facing up. This type u also get more cushioning under yr boots. Now the one with the gasket glued on -no shape holes on the metal plate, I use this version the most compare the others. I use it on my Tanker (never on race deck) and it perform nicely but u have to get use to the plastic "screeching" sound every time u twist the binding but again I'm 230lbs w/ gears on, so if u much lighter u might not hear anything. I hope this help, RT
