    Terje...

Terje is a certified badass. I hate him :)
  2. One of my former coworkers just landed a job at overstock.com and moved over there. He told me to come visit and I can stay at his place and go boarding too. So I might just make it out to Park City :)
  3. Pretty sad for the small businesses: http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news/local/inland_empire&id=7872644
  4. Hey Will, sweet vid! Post some more please :) Have you tried the new plates yet?

Love the angles! I will have to copy you
  6. http://www.ocregister.com/news/highway-281902-road-cooke.html Highway 330 to get into the San Bernardino Mountains will remain closed throughout the winter after recent storms caused the road to buckle. "The force of the water coming down the mountain side was so great that it washed out underneath the road itself," said Darin Cooke, a Caltrans spokesman. The road caved in Dec. 20 at the 35-mile marker of Highway 330, just about six miles north of Highland Avenue, Cooke said. "It was so much in such a little period of time, it couldn't hold," Cooke said. Cooke said geologists are assessing several portions of Highway 330 for possible pavement failure. Highway 330 is the main road to Big Bear Lake, Arrowhead and Running Springs. Motorists traveling to Big Bear can take Highway 38 through Redlands or Highway 18 from Victorville.
  7. The quick answer is I don't want to spend more then a % of my income on gear that I will use less than 15 days a season. That and I don't want to fall into the mindset that I need the latest and greatest to have fun. My Coiler VSR is a modern board (I hope it still is..) and that is plenty of stoke already. Dropping 400 or 750 on a plate is excessive. That money is better spent elsewhere for me.
  8. Who are you taking the Avy1 class with? It will be a lot of fun, get ready to do some hiking in the snow :) June was incredible yesterday! They opened the bottom and I have to say I ripped it up
  9. June is closed today! I have a lake view cabin at Boulder Lodge and it's complete white out.
  10. It happened in spurts for me. The most significant one came when attending Snowperformance at Mammoth. Mike Jacoby and Sean Cassidy are great teachers
  11. Just curious - what sort of features are you looking for in a POS application? I'm a web developer by trade but my company just put me through 7 days of iOS training. I was thinking of creating an iOS based POS system with a web interface for backoffice duties.
  12. Woohoo! First trip of the season and I get me some freshies. Too bad I waited too long to order a Jones Flagship. I'm sure bunny hopping on a Coiler isn't that bad
  13. Looks yummy! Not easy on the wallet though
  14. June is opening on the 16th now with $5 lift tickets!
  15. The Prior 4WD seems to be everyone's go-to all-mountain board here.
  16. I'm planning a trip for the weekend of June's opening on 12/18. It's an unpleasant job but someone has to christen Gunsmoke for the 2011 season I'll ride Mammoth on Sunday and Monday.
  17. I wish there were more user reviews of the Flagship. I did a google search and found this recent one from 11/29: http://goo.gl/i08lF I might just pick up a 158 and write my own review (poor me)
  18. Buell, have you ridden the Flagship our know someone who has and can give some opinions?
  19. Try the Jones and let me know how it works out! It has the rockered tips we're use to on our carving boards and magne-traction for less ideal conditions the board is meant for. I'm deciding between the Flagship, Hovercraft and Venture Storm
  20. Had a great time with the crew today! Glad to see you're ready for the season again George. And thanks to Neil for unboxing the Donek plate for all of us to see
  21. I'm going to try and make it there at 7:30 but it's up to the 405 on when I get there...
  22. Get a bang-for-your-buck modern board and learn on that. Embrace whatever makes learning easier. Would you teach your kid to drive in a stick shift car with no power steering?
  23. 7:30 sounds good to me too. Hope to see a lot of you guys there!
  24. Okay, how's 8pm sound at Belmont Brewing Co. on Wednesday sound for everyone?
  25. The Android is a great platform! I'm still an Apple fanboy at heart but my Evo has been treating me very well. I recommend you download "Angry Birds"
