full disclosure: last time i carved at vail, approx 5 years ago, i was carving a groomed run, went over a rise at speed, and found myself in a field of moguls. not ideal later that morning i ran across 3 carvers. they wouldn't talk to me. noted. i guess i'm not cool enough, but who knows. only time that's happened to me in 15 years of carving colorado i am happy to say i am perhaps the only carver who has left vail in the morning to carve at loveland in the afternoon so . . i hope it's better, but i ain't going back

me too on sunday loveland reported 3" at 3:30 on friday larry told me 6" of heavy snow at beaver creek i think this was a denver storm ie, carving could be very good sunday

loveland has the advantage of higher elevation, so the snow can be still very carve-able. today it was spring-like, but the snow held up well to carving abasin is also the same elevation if it gets warm, conditions could be sloppy at some of the other hills -- keystone, vail, etc -- but still good at loveland and Abasin keep an eye on the weather

mr deere -- many of us folks are from the east coast, and there are many reasons we now live in colorado your bet is certainly intriguing, but you lose me after the phrase "pick you up at logan airport." is there any reason in this world to ever set foot in that airport again? enjoy the east we'll enjoy the west

easy. free. before you climb up that big hill to get to bcreek, take a right on that last roundabout. sorry to be so vague; i don't know the street names what you want is Bear Lot, which is big and on the left at the light. it's free. you take a bus up to the centennial lift. they come often. when you are done riding, you can locate a trail called "leave the beav" which is next to the ritz. it will get you back close to the Bear lot again. beaver creek can often have superb carving. highly recommended good luck

the wax isn't that expensive try it if you like it, buy more if you don't like it, don't buy it it's just wax i don't think you need quantitative results published in the american journal of snowboard wax to try it enjoy keep up the good work tony
