jim -- the run was 100% clean. bring any board you want. i rode soft boots because i felt too many folks were on limited terrain, and i was happy with that decision also, i felt the groom was a bit discontinuous -- but no complaints for day 1 enjoy!

thanks for having a look / listen Baby G is crawling on the treadmill between breastfeeds, deciding between hardtail vs suspension, and thinking about his outfit on opening day. plus lots of sleeping. healthy, happy, and ready to roll (in about a year or so)

there's a big thread for lacy on telemark tips web site my lasting and last memory of lacy was watching him descend some narrow chute off of grizzly near Abasin. lots of stopping and hopping and dropping. looked a bit nasty to me, but when i met him and his gang when they hit the road, he was all smiles. lacy was a guy who knew what he loved.

well, that guy who died in RMNP over the weekend was lacy. i talked to dave b, and he told he was out there solo and said the terrain was well within his ability he was a super solid tele skier and a super nice guy. i'd see him at loveland with a big grin, making turns rest in peace

i own two metal coilers and a 3 year old nidecker GS 183. it ain't metal, but it is still a very fun board and absolutely carves it rides shorter than a 183 i think, and it is very smooth and predictable. i'm 5'3" , 135 pounds, and it's just fine. this is the 2nd 183 i've owned the coilers are 179s
