that's because it fell on monday i was there for the "3 inch" powder day needless to say, it was not 3 inches the weekend weather looks promising and i left the multimillionaires behind at aspen so i should be there question: if they have so much money, why do they ski like crap? it's not like they can't afford lessons ...

snowpack changed today, march 15. from 8:30 - 10:30, at least, i would call the snow "un carve able." i was with dt, and we couldn't find good snow on 1, 2, or 6 Ink, on the other hand, still made it look good might be worth heading up a bit later unless a cold front comes through pc denver

tell P i was dressed as queen esther under my big black down coat and put on a strong of pearls just for the helluvit ensure froze in my pocket but wouldn't have exposed any skin for it anyway cold and windy out there not sure if you would have liked it

today, march 10: 0 degrees, winds from 10 - 60 mph crowds were light snow was windblown, powder, windblown powder, etc visibility was variable we had a blast

the marketing guy called me back, which was a nice gesture on his part, but he said there's no way he could get us a run with 40+ carvers, we are going to be a huge presence i think we just need to make sure we don't scare the public, cuz we are certainly going to mark up the hill see you all there

talked to a guy in marketing today he wasn't thrilled with the idea of giving us our own run, but he said he'd get back to me this weekend i told him it might be safer than 25+ carvers descending on the mountain pcdenver

i'll call jim w at loveland tomorrow and see what he suggests if they can groom and close half of 6 for race training on a weekend, perhaps they can do the same for 25+ carvers,,many of whom are loveland passholders. safer too. i'll get back to you on this mario PCdenver

dr scott got slammed by a skier today at keystone, on a heelside turn, breaking several ribs and getting otherwise demolished i talked to him, and he's in good spirits considering the carnage if you don't know how to reach him, call or email me for info. pc denver
