speaking of board/lift problems me Espi and one of his friends saw something pretty damn funny over the weekend. we were getting on the lift at jiminy, and they had to stop the lift for about 2 minutes for a guy who tried to load, with his backfoot in his binding, and leashed! he attempted to tell us it was because he rode goofy, while Dave proceeded to ask if he had ever used a lift before (in a non condescending tone) i wish i had a picture, he was barely in the seat:D

How Many Hardbooters do you usually see on the mountain?

here, here i tell ya, almost everytime, theres one mysterious carver there, and we never seem to catch up with him. some sort of mountain ghost i suppose :D whatever the case, its always wierd to see another hardboot setup when you expect to be the only one riding one -

well aside from a single mono skier, doing his best to carve, and failing miserably id have to say the funniest stuff i tend to be privy to, are the classic, too good for everyone else hXc skiers who tear it up and pass everyone on the run, only to be found in a heap somewhere towards the middle of the run :lol:

Softboot Setup for experiencer hardbooter?

1)arbor A-Frame (youll break down crying if you break it in the park though) 2)tanker 3)burton (i suggest the clash, the supermodel, or any number of the boards in their freeride section) -
sounds like your working on your setup the same way i did, got a pair of boots from a friend, burton winds, then paid 45 for some burton step-in racte plates (which we so lovingly refer to as "rat-traps"), then went to klugs site and picked up a 99 burton FP for 160 bucks. setups treating me well i tell ya. Cant go wrong with value shopping

haha, it was nice last night, pow said he saw a hardbooter tooling around before I got there (late (screw mapquest)) but didnt see him again. carved with pow til 7 he had to leave, hung around til 10. had an epic bail, I mean wicked, thought I was gonna die (or at least break my leg) type yardsale, which everyone missed, haha. other than that, productive, and tiring.
