I dont think TD1s are going to fit. I am a 14-15 and the binding is extended all the way, including moving the toe and heel bail out by unscrewing a few turns from where it attaches to the binding. The haven't pulled through the threads yet, but I bet they are close. I bet someone could fabricate aluminum "extensions" for them though...

What tools do you guys carry on the mtn when you ride? Can anyone recommend an all-in-one tool (like a mtn bike tool) that will have phillips, flat, and allen/hex keys to fit both Cateks and TDs? Or should I buy an all-in-one allen/hex key set and then also carry a "leatherman" type of tool?

It is upgradeable via SD cards, but it requires proprietary s/w to load the device with data or music. I want to go plug-n-play and drag-n-drop in WXP and WS2K3.

you could get something like the Sony DCR-PC330 or the newer DCR-PC350, excellent video with 3.1mp digital capability. There is also the Samsung SC-D6040. It is a camera that has both a minidv camcorder and a 4mp still camera. Each using it's own lense barrels. It is literally 2 cameras in one...

The DSC-W1 was $349 at Sears, I used my Sears charge card and got 10% off electronics over $299 using it, and then I also got a coupon with my new card (it came 2 days before I bought the camera) to save $20 off off $300 or more. So, I ended up paying $294 + tax... Remember the DSC-W1 requires MediaStick PRO to record video at 640x480 30fps "fine" mode. Normal MediaStick media will record video, but not in the "fine" mode.

I bought the DSC-W1, 2 months ago! Pics are excellent, and the video is great for a still camera. I am very happy with this camera! I'll post some samples in a couple of minutes...plus my Sony Handtcam DCR-PC330 lenses fit it with a $19 Ebay adapter...

Hey any of you that live in CT MA or NY ride at Butternut (MA), or any other "closer to home" mountains when you can't make the trip north? I am trying to find "good" carving mountains within an hour or so of Hartford, CT, when I can't or don't want to spend 5 or 6 hours in a car (round trip)... I haven't been to Butternut since I was a kid, but I remember it having some wider trails, and it was taller than Sundown, (plus it's only $15 a day for me on Mon and Tue)
