A friend was telling me that anything over a certain length (ski wise) must have releasable bindings (which have integrated brakes), and most snowbladers that I have seen use bail type, non-releasable bindings much like ours. They often wear leashes, too. That said, I've never had a liftie give me any trouble while on a hardboot setup, only rental softboot boards.

While not the best for carving it up however you want, it's just such a fun trail with those steep drops through the corners.

I just got that email too. If they've got snow, I might go this weekend & play for a little- gotta use my free pass.

Hows the weather looking up there? Down here it's been raining on & off more, and yesterday was quite warm. Hoping to get to okemo a week from today.

I can usually avoid skidding on greens, but anything on a real blue in less than ideal snow will require equal parts skidding & carving for me.

It's been DAMN warm down here in RI, today our high was nearly 60. I'm hoping to be back up to okemo or stratton this weekend or the following week.

I'm down for some sunapee, starting a week from today. Gotta get through a few exams first. I took the day off from studying and went to stratton, got my season pass for stratton/sunapee/okemo, so I'm ready to go!

Hate to say it, but you were right about the conditions, at the summit at least. big chunks of ice over powder over ice. Lower down it wasn't as bad. Have fun tomorrow. Looking forward to joining soon.

Well, I'll be there in the 8:30 timeframe tomorrow. Hope it's not TOO bad. I'll be doing the stratton/sunapee/okemo thing a lot this winter, hope to catch up with some of you.

Rather than bring up a thread from '06 that I found when searching, I figured I'd start a new one. I've got a pair of burton gloves from a couple years ago, and they're starting to wear through, despite lots of reinforcements. After surfing through a couple winters I've figured out that (wetsuit) mittens are a lot warmer than (wetsuit) gloves, I figure the same applies to regular winter/snowboard wear. Anyone have any suggestions for a reinforced mitten, preferably one with goretex?

Will any of you be on blues on sunday? Blacks still concern me a bit- especially if i'm trying to get used to this new donek axis 172 as a change from a F2 speedcross 154!

Well, per TT's approval, I'm going to post some tires for sale here 'cause I can't get rid of them on my mazda site right now. Two are in fair/good condition, two are in very good condition. These are performance summer tires, which is why I can't get rid of them right now. Paypal or local- you pay shipping if you want them sent. As per the title, they're Bridgestone Potenza RE050A, in 215/45/18. I'd like $150 for them, but at this point I want them out of my garage. Perhaps you could make some interesting offers in trades if you don't want to pay cash.

Shawn, I don't think the attention is focused on the business ethics here at all. The discussion has moved towards what a board with a convex base will do. I think you've made all the fair offers necessary.

I'm having a hell of a time getting rid of some bridgestone potenza RE050A tires in 215/45/18.. Anyone know of someone who'd want them? Local would be great but I could ship 'em. 2 are very good, 2 are good, and I don't want much $$ for 'em. I know non-snowboard stuff isn't allowed in the classifieds, but I figure this thread's already far enough gone.
