  1. I called one of the dealers, sounds like the promotion goes the whole season!
  2. That could go so well, or so badly.. depends on their waitress selection
  3. I've got a F2 speedcross, bit short for you though at 154. Also, SCR is 8.2 I intended to keep it for the messy/crowded days, but i'll throw it in here as an offer.
  4. Cool, I'm looking forward to it! I'll keep an eye here for when you are all meeting up & try to make those days.
  5. Durace (or others) I tend to shy away from the blacks, but sunapee is a smaller mountain- are theirs tamer than say mt snow's? I was eyeing the sunbowl quad's liftline run. Also bonanza/chipmunk on the main peak. Hopefuly since school breaks are over, the mountain will be pretty empty during the week. I've got a season pass for stratton/okemo/sunapee, so I'm game for going pretty much whenever, so long as I have someone to take care of my dog while I'm gone!
  6. Any trail recommendations? I will likely be there thursday this week
  7. Read the whole thread that gecko posted- they are coming out with a catek steel heel.
  8. I have difficulty getting my 325Ts to cinch down tight enough for my calves, which causes some issues on my shins. Have you considered adding some firm padding around the liner where it meets the boot shell to distribute some of the force? This is what I'm thinking of doing soon.
  9. Anyone going to be around this week? When do you normally meet up etc?

    Stratton

I'd just as soon go on a weekday, since I imagine it will be less crowded.

    Stratton

Any of the stratton crew going to be there this upcoming week?
  12. Well, after a full day, I lost a bit of vinyl near the contact points- both tail and nose. It's not too bad, but some precautions should probably be taken in sealing these areas better.
  13. Yep, that was me. Truth be told, it's actually this board :http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=22462 which is why there was no logo visible.. sean hasn't gotten around to sending me a sticker, it should seem.
  14. Tony, glad you made it out. Let me know if you want to go again sometime- got some gift coins to yawgoo. Also let me know if you want to go up north- okemo, stratton, sunapee.
  15. One of the lifties at Okemo (jackson gore peak) knew alpine stuff.. talked to me for 5 seconds as i was sitting down. Anyone know who it was?

    Okemo

How's it looking? Thinking about heading up tomorrow (tues)
  17. They do not look like any thermo liners that I am familiar with, also I don't believe that deeluxe/raichle had thermos as standard equipment at that time. Putting the liners in the oven would probably result in nothing more than warm liners and melty vinyl. Missed your PS, but yes they are (f)intec compatable.
  18. Slightly different stiffnesses on the new boots, and much better buckles. Also the new boots come with thermomold liners, which are great. The actual shell shape etc hasn't changed.
  19. With damn bendy busses, no doubt as to why they're on strike! happy christmahanaquanzika to everyone!
  20. Just worth noting that you shouldn't buy boots by the size "or so", you actually want them the right size which is your foot in CM, rounded down. Also, the different brands have rather different fit characteristics.
  21. The math is actually that the 1 degree base makes a 91 degree included edge, while the 2 degree base subtracts 2, resulting in 89. Please see below for clarification. Should be quite evident what angles are resulting. I did not say whether the base & edge bevel would result in more or less than 90 because that depends on the specific bevel angles.
  22. This is actually wrong, although common.. I will draw some diagrams.
  23. http://jmphotocraft.smugmug.com/gallery/4484815_z4Kur#263828085_akWAa That should link to the photo for someone who might know.. I don't. Some sort of step-in, though. 109 is a different rider & binding.
  24. We are both talking about this photo, right?
  25. I didn't find the transition to hardboots too bad, though I'd only had several sessions on softboots first. That said, after several sessions on softboots I was already getting enough lean to hit boot-out.
