  2. You're right. They also made Quantum boards and factory closed maybe 3-4 years ago. They had a "fire sale" at that time... wondering how much they sold those boards at the time. Heard it was pretty cheap. Anybody ever ridden that board and can tell me more about it ?
  3. Ok... I've got my old kemper asym 164 with those green and purple bindings (fritschi??) . I'll sell it to anybody who offers me 600$.. super deal compared to this one. And it's got the same shape... and colours are wayyyy nicer !!! Send msg if interested lol
  4. Need your advide on that board: Riot Velocity - 180 cm Read on BOL that it is pretty snappy and stiff, but still an incredible ride... I am 6'5 and 195... Live in Quebec so wide slopes are pretty rare around here.. Will I kill myself (or others) with that stick? lol Anybody has ever ridden that board?
  5. Skipuppy, there's a band called "!!!" (pronounce "chick chick chick") So let's name that dog: chick!
  6. Here's the best, IMHO... Comes from Incan Mythology. KHUNO: High altitude Weather God who got fed up with humans messing about with his nice clean snow. Some kind of compromise was reached when he directed them to the cocaine plant. After a few nibbles of that, they didn't care how high they were or what the weather was like. They also became very protective of the snow. So it looks like KHUNO was the world's first drugs dealer. Is it any coincidence that 'snow' is a nickname for dodgy powdery stuff? <O:p</O:p
  10. How low can you go is the one I like better. I think Jack had a good point with the roller coaster thing though... that would be quite interesting.. the thrill of the rollercoaster mixed with the one you get on your board. My own advice: forget the "..." . Uneasthetic IMHO. Go straight to the point. The ... implies there could be something else. In publicity, going straight to the point is the key. That's about it.. for now
  11. Hey, just visited the new Deeluxe web site. What do you think of their prediction ? " Snowboarding changes over and over again. Although, several tools remain the same without adapting. Alpine snowboarding changes right now, in a phase many people wont believe in this discipline anymore. And that's exactly where it draws its power from, aiming at more movability, more community, on to the actual spirit of snowboarding – having fun on snow and the feeling of gliding along in a sense of weightlessness. Alpine boards are becoming shorter again, even broader and less hard. The binding angle got flatter and see there – its fun again riding with hardboots. Its possible again to follow the joy of carving all day long, really controlling the board and not vice versa. Long, slim and extremely hard boards are good, but you need thighs like a tree trunk and a ridiculous condition. Its a good advice for those having all that, but the others should have fun riding a snowboard as well."
  12. 3 answers correct.. I am not dumb Thanks Skategoat, i feel a lot better now !

The guy is a very good seller if somebody catches that.. http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/spo/413383954.html Bought brand new last year... of course! I am wondering if it is that new asym shape we see sometimes... must be fast!! Did I lose a part here or Kemper hasn't been on the market for yeeears now ???

    Bad Beers

Carling Extreme, Carling Extra Strong, Carling Light, Carling this and Carling that... Molson makes too many varieties of Carling. The first ever made was (and is still) horrible. Now, they make all those disgusting ones (like 4%, 5%, 6.5%, 8%, ans even 10%!!!!) Same ****, different alcohol percentage. Cheap booze for homeless people on the streets ! (i am not judging, just observing what they drink here in Montreal) I could list a lot on here, but will let you discover for yourself if you ever come to Montreal. Guiness and Kilkenny are always a good choice IMHO.
  18. Hey Derf, Hope you are ok! Bog damages on the car ? ARC, think i'll have to work this weekend (again!!!!) Can u believe i had only 3 days out with my board this winter ?????? Damn job!
  19. Poor pup  BTW, don't u need a vacuum and a clean up in the house ?? lol
  20. We want a picture of the dog with his doggles and cone collar !! Good thing he is fine now!
  21. I'll go with other Montrealers: Stowe !
  22. Honestly, I totally looooove Mont-Blanc. Not too crowded, reasonable prices, usually nice grooming (haven't been there this year though) Of course, I did enjoy Le Massif, but more because of the magnificient view. If you are the only carver, maybe your friends will prefer Le Massif , but just tell them Mont-Blanc is waaaaay better. I personally think Mont Blanc Nord section has the nicest trails. Some are steeper, but pretty wide and nice. And the best part is that this section is not busy compared to the 2 others. Don't see any problem bringing your alpine board. Any advice from other fellow carvers ?
  23. Not to bitch but... told u it was the worst week to go ! And u have to be there early to avoid all the two plankers.. Better luck next time, if you ever decide to go back !
  24. Haaaaa mais tu m'énerves toi J'espère que tu en profites en masse !! Ici, il annonce 6 degrés et de la pluie demain ! More rain to come next week Oublie pas de changer l'heure samedi soir, sinon tu vas rater ton vol !!!!
  25. Lucky you !!!! Don't forget, most of the slopes go to the same 3 chairs... which means......................
