  1. Flip. Thats the word I was looking for. The only problem when you flip is that it restricts the plate when you want to change angles
  2. I am not sure if the burton binding can go up to 23. What you CAN do is turn the toe piece 180 degrees as shown in the image. I have seen many girls do this including Rosy Fletcher and Lisa Kosglow from the US snowboard team
  3. Indeed. How about a KES (kiting expression session) in Greece????
  4. Also, If Steph is reading this thread, I did ask for your permission by email to use this photo but gotten no reply. I hope this is OK. It was such a good photo and was a pity not to use. I did the same with Todd and he OKyed it.
  5. It is not photoshopped. There is a line but unfortunately you can not see it in this resolution. In the actual magazine it is clear that these are 2 different shots
  6. By the way the credits of this article (1st page, top left corner) are: article and photos by: Alexis Angelides action photos by: Sean Martin
  7. I was given the oportunity to right an article describing the SES. Unfortunately it is in Greek so you guys/girls probably will not be able to read it but I will answer any related questions.
  8. We europeans are happy if we see a snowflake during christmas. Based on last year snow conditions which were the worst, I am prety sure everyone in Europe is allready praying
  9. OK 15 may be too long but I am prety sure you can ride steeper angles with softies.
  10. which country in particular? Are you looking for carving? Have you ever been in an expression session in Aspen?
  11. Currently we are developing with Sean a "soft boot carving board" concept. Although we haven't finilized the specs yet we are looking at a 25.5 waist. This board will behave like like a soft carving board allowing the rider to use soft boots or to slap on a pair of plates. We will probably have the specs down towards the end of September and we are concidering a name like RAZOR in regards to BLADE. Will be good to hear your comments
  12. Nice Going. I hope we get an early winter this year!!!
  13. Will be sending some. What resolution you want them in? Somebody took a group photo on top of Ajax during first trax. That would be nice to have

    Hot Box

Just remember that you need to use a relatively soft wax that will penetrate the base. If however you want to experiment, heat up a block of hard wax and a block of soft wax. Mix'em up and you have what we call a conditioner wax. When it is applied on a base the soft penetrates deep while the hard stays closer to the surface. Apply it with an iron and put the board in the sauna. Another thing is that when the board is out from the sauna DONT WIPE THE WAX OFF, ( I 've seen people do that). Let it cool and then scrape and brush.
  15. Speed is great fun!!!! But remember that if you perfect your technique you 'll be able to go fast and be in control. And the best way to work on the technique is to make long, wide turns that will give you time to think and experiment with the body position.

I put my boards in the beggeining and end of each season in the sauna. The temperature get up to 40-45 degrees C. If the sauna has reached this temp and I put a board in 30 minutes is enough to see the wax liquify on top of the base. It is a very good and ease way to make the board base absorb wax and perform its best
  17. Good luck with the construction. Dont forget to post your outcome when you are done
  18. I just noticed that the names of the files are Groove. Are you actually going to have Groove manufacture these shapes for you?
  19. The first one is Ok. Its the other 2 that I am refering to. Have you ever seen the snowboards called GROOVE. They are made in Italy and they have a really short nose to keep an effective edge as long as possible
  20. man, this was nusty as hell. Do you still use these boots? Are they OK now?
  21. They are pretty good. To my opinion the curves of the nose seem to go way back and you tend to lose a lot of effective edge. Same with the tail. Have in mind that for carving the most important thing is the length of the effective edge!!! Round off your board both nose and tail but always in respect to the effextive edge
  22. what about their liners. They have 3 types. If one should get a pair what liners would you uys recomend
  23. Mouchos Grathias. Spanish for thank you very much
