  2. Neuffy - before your BTS arrives, you may want to try riding with your rear boot in free forward flex mode. This may allow you additional flexibility; that's how I ride, locked in front and free forward back boot [3*f/0*r]. I have tried 3*/3* and 3*/6* and for me, 3*/0* felt best.
  3. Pebu - I bet you could take it to an exponential factor based on the gear you ride ;)
  4. Gleb - I do have a pair of thermo's however they are Mondo 27. Would you like to buy a used set of Booster Straps, the stronger three strap model? Also have two pair of Scott NIB goggles + 2 pair of NIB wrist gaurds. Pat
  5. Barry, You can see Joerg's flexibilty http://www.pureboarding.com/pureboarding/index.php?id=filme&L=0 one of my favorites http://www.pureboarding.com/pureboarding/fileadmin/user_upload/publisher/videos/mop/Moments_of_pride.mov

  11. Adding a little Swix CH3 (hard wax) will help. I lightly apply along the edges after dripping whatever base wax I am using. I suppose you could melt the base wax in then apply the powder and melt again. Product Description: Special hydrocarbon powder increases hardness of all waxes it is mixed with. Use for abrasive, cold snow. https://www.artechski.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=A&Product_Code=9062&Category_Code=090

  13. Northern Lower Michigan - Boyne Highlands and/or Boyne Mtn. Jan 7 - 11, 2007 Buy a "frequent" card for $50 and ride for free Jan 7 -11. One ticket per card per day. I would avoid either area over the holidays as too crowded.
  14. Try this for starters http://www.skicoupons.com/coupons.cfm/r/9/g/2/cc/28 Also do a search on e-bay.
  15. Be sure to keep your heel pins and receiver landing areas "buttered" to reduce the amount of stress on the cable when releasing as well as reduce the wear on the receivers.

  17. http://auto.consumerguide.com/Auto/New/reviews/full/index.cfm/id/38858/Act/Showall/ I did read in the above link of others complaining of limited field of vision . . ."floaty" feel on the highway. Do all models burn premium unleaded? Prices quoted must be for a previously owned vehicle, a rental? First impression indicates the Magnum must not hold it's value well? Also mention of the middle passenger riding the hump. My wife just turned in her 9.2X Saab (re badged Subara) . . . glad to say goodbye to that little car. Now she is driving an 07 Impala, great ride! I might get to use it as I inisisted on the flip and fold rear seats and the 184 fits fine.
  18. http://www.skibanff.com/conditions/snow_report.php Thanks to Rob Stevens for the heads up.
  19. Mario - If this season is any like 2004 then the snow is better at Loveland. Wait for later in the season or sell your pass to Cu if you can. Two years ago we took one run at Copper at Thanksgivig and said adios. Too many people on too few runs. If you do go to Copper, enjoy the shuttle ride from where ever you park!!
  20. Brian, Head back to the MILK and we will get new avatars!!
  21. Better than most other gloves for off the shelf wear-a-bility. IMO, the vulnerable area is the stiching. Check out shoe goo. Kind of like silcone caulk on steroids (harder, but still pliable).
  22. Snowraider gloves - I have two pair, one has never been used. I prefer the longer gauntlet. In the cold, the fingers of the gloves have a tendancy to stick together. This can be eliminated by running a bead of shoe goo, silicone or hot glue between the joints and allowing whatever to cure (while separated) before wearing. The gloves are lighter weight and you may want to wear a liner with them if it is less than 20* F. To increase the life of most any glove or mit, you can apply a thin coat or two of shoe goo. I have found it best to apply before when the gloves are new, before the wear begins.
  23. Gotta love Okemo . . . lifted from a previous year's ad. Potential T-Shirt?
