  2. Acoustic version from Ann Arbor, MI Nov 2010
  3. Nice one Bob. If others could only observe and learn from the greats!! Note the upper body control, level shoulders and hands (usually in) visual periphery (sp).
  4. Not sure on what specific bolt you are referring to but this may help http://www.bomberonline.com/store/boots/parts_af.cfm Also try the search function, here's one from "cuff bolt" http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=12344&highlight=cuff+bolt
  5. Via FedEx I have used zip strips rather than locks. For TSA I have used carbiner type from Tractor Supply; was meant for farm / lawn mower implements.
  6. also try duct tape or electricians tape over the machined cavity / bolt head area.

  8. http://bfgoodrichtires.com/shaunwhite/ Olympian Shaun White’s endorsement profile keeps rising on Madison Avenue. White and BFGoodrich Tires announced a multi-year deal Thursday for the 2-time Olympic Gold Medalist to tout the company in time for ESPN’s coverage of the Winter X Games in Aspen this weekend White’s the most decorated athlete in the history of the Winter X Games with 15 medals. BFGoodrich has created a series of “webisodes” showing him behind the wheel of a race car rather than on a snowboard or skateboard . . . full article http://www.worldnewsinsight.com/winter-x-games-2011-start-in-aspen-colorado/5124/

  10. I usually ride with a PLASTIC "storm" whisitle; metal could get stuck to one's lips if as cold as in recent days. A 4mm Allen T-wrench OR phillips head screw driver to secure heels. If riding with Intec/FinTec heels, I'll travel with a spare cable. Lift Ticket ;)
  11. Try FedEx: a) to ship to Bomber Hdqts. Shipping Jan 25th may not allow for enough time to gaurantee arrival on Jan 31st? Check tonight if possible. b) to ship direct to where you are staying or to the property manager if you can arrange this. We ship our gear in SporTube's from SE Michigan to Aspen via FedEx and the normal transit time is 3 days not counting the day drop off. From Marquette may be add an additional day?
  12. Now I am hard pressed to find Leedom's. The "Scream" I have fits well and has been factory re-built twice over the past 12 years. Just not sure if they are around anymore? This hard shell helmet is much warmer than my Giro 9.
  13. There might be few out there? http://skihelmets.com/boeri.asp http://www.snowshack.com/product_list.asp?HDR=search&SEARCH=boeri http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_5_13?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=boeri+helmets&sprefix=boeri+helmets
  14. P-Tex top sheet (black board on left) . . . no more snow sticking issues. Took a few runs tonight and this is a fun turney board with lots of grip. Monster on the right
  15. as long as you still have the board, give it a try with your soft boot set-up. One of my riding budies injured his lower extremities last season and HB's are now too painful for him to ride. Last week or so he mounted his softies on his Donek AX and is making some decent turns and enjoying his board.

  18. Leveling the shoulders will help to drive your hips (thigh) into the hill. Check out PC . . . http://vimeo.com/10029545 Take a few runs and think of your shoulder alignment as fixed wings with the objective to keep your uphill wing from tipping into the hill.
  19. tempting . . . 6 hr drive. Close in lodging?
  20. work on leveling the wings on your heelside
  21. An old cowboy sat down at the bar and ordered a drink. As he sat sipping his drink, a young woman sat down next to him. She turned to the cowboy and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?" He replied, "Well, I've spent my whole life, breaking colts, working cows, going to rodeos, fixing fences, pulling calves, bailing hay, doctoring calves, cleaning my barn, fixing flats, working on tractors, and feeding my dogs, so I guess I am a cowboy." She said, "I'm a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking about women. As soon as I get up in the morning, I think about women. When I shower, I think about women. When I watch TV, I think about women. I even think about women when I eat. It seems that everything makes me think of women." The two sat sipping in silence. A little while later, a man sat down on the other side of the old cowboy and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?" He replied, "I always thought I was, but I just found out I'm a lesbian."
  22. be sure to fight for the far R of the chair
  23. Bump, as no one has asked me to be the get one free party to this offer ;-) Seriously, offers like these are few and far between!!
  24. I agree with Bob, this is not an issue. I cut both of my liners on the back of each heel in order to run the power cable for my Thermic heaters with no problems with the liners. In addition to taping, you may want to file the points off of the protruding screw points OR replace them with stainless steel 5mm allen head boots. If the screws rust in place you can have issues trying to remove, plus the allen heads can take more torque when tightening. The bolts are flat on the tip (end), not pointed. http://www.alpinecarving.com/parts.html
