  1. **** Test Balloon - Feedback Wanted **** My friends Neill & Chris own Norway Mountain, home of the Yeti, in Iron Mountain Michigan. Neill is a hardbooter & Skier, as well as Mountain Manager, Advertising Director, Web Monkey, Event / Race Director, Lead Groomer, Head of Ski Patrol, Chief Mechanic, Carpenter, Plumber, Landscaper, Kitchen & Bar Manager, Bartender, Father and Spouse. www.norwaymountain.com He would like to hold a 3- day Session late season, to included fun Alpine Snowboarding events, for riders of all levels, which could include Parallel Slolam, Boarder Y, limbo, Carve style, clinics, etc. So we would like your input: How likely would you be to make the trip? Ideas for events? Any race coaches and or instructors interested in hosting clinics? This is not a big hill, most of us are used to that, but we would have a groomer at our disposal. Thanks in advance! Al

  5. That's "Goofy", wait - a - minute, is that why they call it goofy? Yes we have run into a few...they tended to be more ambidextrous and athletically inclined, humans are funny creatures!
  6. When teaching a slalom water skier we check for the dominant leg with a gentle back ward push, as people will catch themselves with their dominant leg. Most all sports require that the dominant leg be used for the driving position, E.g. back position on a ski or board, driving to the Hoop, or net, or outside hitting, or even standing on the pitchers mound. No wonder my right hip wore out years before my left.
  7. We welcomed a new member to our collective quiver and the first half of our retirement plan. This is my Wife's new (2013 NOS) Voile 160 V-tail Splitty. Now I just need to find a 180 model....

  12. My Wife and I are beginning to plan our retirement inda beautiful UP of Michigan, and we decided one facet will be adding split boards to the quiver, Voile swallowtails to be exact. I'm wondering if anyone is set up to use your hardboots (E.g. Deeluxe 325's)? Or do we need to add some Tele boots to the gear room? Any recommendations on plate bindings? I've seen some cool billet plates lately but wasn't certain I could get comfy forward angles out of them....any intel would help tremendously! Also ISO of a Viole 180 V Tail and appropriate binding hardware....will post to Classifieds when I know more about what to look for.... Thanks, in advance

  15. Hi KP, I believe I have a pair of long red springs, but they're up at our snowboard cabin. We're heading there tonight, let me double check, advise, and then I would be happy to trade for blues. Al
  16. WYNTER is too 'slim' for your party, fyi
  17. I did have my Coiler Prototype 173 AMT SwallowTail for sale, built for your weight, but had no takers. Planned on keeping for the Wife to grow into, but would still consider a sale for the right price. She's (WYNTER) the one in the middle.
  18. OK Boys and Girls, up for your consideration is a very rare Al Worley hand made deck sale. Those who know me know how meticulously my gear is kept, the Prior is actually my wifes. On the left is "RUBY" (aka Rubella), a 181 Virus Cyborg Evolution III, in immaculate condition 9.5/10, sick camber, not for the faint of heart. Ruby is sold and moving to Montana. In the middle is "WYNTER" a one of a kind Coiler prototype swallowtail, essentially a 173 AMT, Titanal VSR, built for a light 140-145 lb rider. In excellent condition 9/10 some slight cosmetic wear (Bruce's codex : T173 SP O9D3 6-3 + 4-5).....NO LONGER FOR SALE On the right is my Wife's Prior Magnolia Twin, her entry level Hard boot transition board (she started on softies and graduated on TD2's) This was new inventory (09-10)when I bought it from a board shop in S. Lake Tahoe. It is a 156 x 7.5 x 24.3 in 9.5/10 top sheet condition, slight scratches in the ptex, but a fresh tune will bring it back to a 10. It has only been tuned once. $200 Prices do not include shipping.
  19. Numbing Cold & Snowy....looks like our prayers have been answered
  20. $750 shipped to lower 48
  21. I have a Minty Virus Evolution III, 181, about 14 cm wide with the camber of a crossbow. Very fast and snappy for an aggressive rider....
  22. Glad to help a brother out! Enjoy your new Limited Edition TD's! Cheers! Al
  23. Since I'm essentially doing you a favor by taking these off your hands, in Summer no less
  24. I have a 169 Titanal VSR, 21 wide, asyms core ( regular), named Lividd. Built for me at 175lbs. I would let this go for a fair offer or very interesting trade. If I recall Bruce built this in 2009-10. It has around 50 days on it with one very recent tune. Bottom is a 9.5 and the top sheet a 7-8 outta 10. I don't have the board here at home, it's at our Winter cottage, but I don't expect you'd need it anytime soon. Here's a pic I found.
  25. Bump! No response from seller. Sourced new F2's in Germany
