Had to scrape a little snow off the car before I headed to work this morning, I was waiting for the sun to hit the mountains and bring out the reds but I don't think that it's going to happen. Overcast and cool, going to be 34 degrees tonight.

101 is way too hot, we're still hitting around 90 here. We had no spring and I don't think we'll have much of an autumn. FloBoot- I wish the pic were sharper, it only lasted for a couple of minutes and it took me one to run and get the camera. It got the color right but it's just a tad blurry. And to get you both pumped up a bit- October 25th of last year, view from my front window.

Yesterday evening the clouds started getting a little dark and shortly after that the wind started gusting and the hail started coming down. Knocked a few pine trees in the neighborhood down. Must be the indian in me, I told you it was on the way.

The temps here are too high for this time of year but the afternoons are getting that autumn feel. Snow is not too far behind!

I just started on the line and I can't think of a better way to get ready for winter, I'm working muscles I forgot I had. Playing with my grandson and listening to The Virgins song Blue Rose Tattoo. Life's good even at 100 degrees, looking forward to winter. I will miss my friends, thanks for not kicking me out when I out stayed my welcome. Be careful on those volcanoes. One of the things I love about carving is when I look down from the lift and see trenches left by those I love to ride with. Then I see mine and my first thought is "I need to lose weight" Thank you Buell and Rebecca for coming to Powder to ride with me. Kipp

I'd start with dinner and a good wine, followed by some light conversation. Hopefully things will progress to where you both are more comfortable with each other, make sure you are not too eager to take that next step. Are you going to be up tomorrow? Looks like this storm isn't working for us. Good day to try out my new ride, Geartrade had a 165W K2 Ultra Dream for $350 total. Tax, shipping, everything, it was just missing the sticker. Ordered it at 10:30 Wednesday and it was at my door Thursday at 11:17am, man I love those guys at Backcountry.
