  2. A friend of mine has seen them at the ISPO, they are basically the 325 but super stiff. People said that they are so close to the NW.
  3. It depends, if you have the gray/race tongue in freezing conditions is almost impossible to pull it at the side
  4. You can replace the original spring or all the sistem with another one. I don't think that BTS will fit. My friends uses the one made by Arnaud from Swoard
  5. Ciao Alexey, I remember that you told me that the 168 FC is one of your favourite board but in my opinion it could be great for somebody who is already on a carving board. A board so narrow initiates so easy to carve but is also so unstable. I have huge feet so I didn't have a ride on it. The 169 FC, that it is still too narrow for me, is a great board that gives a lot of fun, a real allround board quick and tight turns and also great on medium speed.
  6. I had both of them, there are a lot of differences between NW and UPZ The NW has symmetric shell as the Deeluxe 325 The UPZ has asymetric shell as the Deeluxe 700 NW are so easy to get in and out UPZ are so difficoult to get in and out NW has great front and rear flex and it can be easily modified through the springs UPZ front and rear flex depends mainly from the tongue, the grey is metal stiff, the black is stiff, the red is gum. Choose one tongue and then adjust with through the springs. NW has centered sole UPZ has the heel placed under your heel, you have to mind this when you tune your bindings. Both has great lateral stiffness. NW has the ankle buckle maid in steel wire which doesn't give any issue in forward flex UPZ has plastic and alluminim ankle buckle wich, in deep flex, hits the first buckle un your leg NW are quite narrow UPZ are quite wide Both work great, I prefer the NW but they are old and pricey. UPZ has changed the third buckle and Deeluxe has made the 425, a super stiff version of the 325 Let's see. In my opinion at todays date UPZ RC10 or Deeluxe 700 are the right choice depends from your feet which of the two choose.
  7. The 168 FC is 16 cm wide, how it could be a biginner board? Maybe the 164 FC or the 169FC.
  8. As said I'm not an ECier, I'm too tall fat and lazy for it. People said that the difference is that in correct EC technique the body is not sliding on snow , it is few cm above. People said that in normal conditions it carves well but in difficoult conditions it has some problems.
  9. My 175 wide fiberglass is too stiff not the Sputnik Wide Kevlar.
  10. I have bought a 175 wide, build on the Sputnik camber but 21 cm wide. Very nice board so well built and so fun in carving. The only problem is that as said , is too stiff. So in normal conditions works well but on ice has some problems. I have some ride on the Sputnik wide ad has the same behaviour but works better because is softer. The 169 FC is a very versatile an everyday free carving board The 173-2 as the same behaviour with some more cm of edge The Bulat 161 and 168 are average carving wide boards, I'm not on Extreme Carving but who rides the EC technique said that are carving boards and not extreme carving boards The 177 race is a nice race board that can be used also for free carving
  11. Make your self a favour. Study.
  12. I have 295 too and all the bindings I had worked with my boots, Delleuxe 325 125 Head Stratos Pro Northwave .900 . I have TD2, Burton Race, F2 Race Titanium, Proflex Freecarve, 19.94 Nagano, Head Carbon.
  13. I'm speaking about the italian Madd. Someone told me that are the original ones. I have seen only a brand new one, with new shape, I don't now much about.
  14. Seems that Madd are back in business. A friend of mine has two new board from them, I have spoked with Mr Madd and he told me that he is thinking to start back working on hard boards.
  15. I have a 175 Wide Fiberglass The board is well built, has a good sound when knocked, thick edges, good finishing. The boards runs well on normal and hero snow and I had great fun on it. It is too stiff, too much even for my weight(115 kg). Is even so stiff torsionally. Normally is a good thing but when is too much it makes some problems also because the board is 21 cm wide. On ice maybe because of it is too stiff or because it is in fiberglass or both the board gave me some problems. Good Well built Fun freeriding board 21 cm width Very good Quality/Price Bad Too Stiff Difficult on icy conditions
  16. I have a Nirvana VCAM 178/21 12/14 , fantastic board. We had it on test at the carvers days and all the people that rode it said that is fantastic. Extremely easy to ride , it improved so far my riding. Easy on pack as in fresh snow. Probably the best board I have ever rode. The only think that I don't like is the design of the nose and the tail, I would like to have a hammer head nose and straight tail. More aggressive look, but it is only a look thing
  17. Post modified, my mistake the shell are E not F as wrote before
  18. Northwave .350 MP 295 Shell E 350 usd shipped to USA with ACCS spring system, as new, years in a closet. The black signs are due to the sole of soft boots in the same closet.
  19. Great! I'll place a post in carvers.
  20. If the TTPI will pass will be more easy to get boards and stuff between USA and Europe
  21. Coiler is also sending a couple of demo boards. It will be real fun!
  22. It depends from the country, from Italy you have to check www.spedire.com and www.spediamo.it for a 180 cm board about 140 usd
  23. Thanks Fin, at this moment more than 50 carvers are supposed to come and the number is groving up each day.
  24. It depends in which plastic they are made. The new plastics last 50 years...
  25. Maybe you can move to wordpress, easy quick and cheap.
