  4. turns out its very close to my garage in feel and ride. I don't need two in the quiver that similiar so its up for grabs again. I would like to get my money back out of it. so the $200 I am asking represents the 175 plus shipping that I paid.
  5. The board in question is owned by the sometime poster (savetheswallowtail). I am unsure of the method of aquisition but it is truly cool:eek: ITs about an inch and a half thick between the binders. and super long. Pop doesn't describe it really it just doesn't bend.

I had a blast guys waiting on next year already. be safe and call if your flights are canceled for the next month due to valley fog we'll hit it some more:lol:
  12. 406-250-2220 call john mcginnis he has a few in that size range made up and they are what you are looking for almost exactly what you just described. I ride one in a 174 on those conditions when the OSIN isn't the thing for the job. It is stiffer than an average board, carves like a demon and cuts through the crap with ease! very reasonably priced custom boards.

You and every one else who knows what it is. They're old why would you want old technology man? I heard this argument just today on the hill. obviously never rode one:biggthump John was ahead of his time and the advanced math weird sidecut craziness works. My GARAGE proves it.

shred special 201 Donek shred custom specs you guys know this board if you want I will root up the pics but I have ridden it twice since I got it and its not right for me so its up on the block. I have $380 in it so that's what its up for plus shipping. no hard sell just has to go so I can try the next one:biggthump No bindings included but the metal stomp pad pieces will stay on the board. this board is in great shape the base is flawless and the top sheet has a few nicks from lift line etc. It has a row of Dakine stomppad spikes across the tail to deter rearend damage. in the lift line. It is a mean looking board with the silver mylar topsheet and the metal accents. this was a 208 cm spec board with the nose cut down to reduce profile and weight. one of a kind board over 200cm for very reasonable price. amp1.bmp
  16. Good reasonably well rounded healthy blend.. It gets my vote! :biggthump A little light on protein maybe for a long day but if you are snacking on similiarly healthy snacks throughout it should do nicely. You can always eat an egg or two with it:biggthump
  17. your OSIN isn't good in the crud????????? I think you had better define powder for us. In everything fresh and deep up to the consistency of wet cement the OSIN 4807 has served me well. It is easier to soak up bumps with forward angles in my experience and to pick your line and turn in the piles rather than the troughs. It will carve reasonably enough to get to the lift without looking like a park monkey and its great in the moguls. what boots and bindings are you using with it? another thing that works for me is loosening up when it gets deep or heavy a tight stiff setup doesn't allow you to absorb the bumps it transmits them directly to you. hardboots maybe walk mode loose tops etc. soft boots loosen up the upper part of the boot and even the binding itself. hard boot bindings go to a softer feeling binding like an F2 etc. I reread your post and the CASCADE version of powder is definitely a heavier problem PUN intended!
  18. ideally old age experience and continuing education. Some of the older ones get a little set in their ways and don't grow and develop. they call it a practice for a reason. I would pick someone who had been in practice a while and who had a track record of followup studies in their chosen technique. Many technique websites can give you referrals to DC's who regularly attend seminars etc. The colleges are now teaching "packages" for technique which boils down to a little bit of this and a little bit of that. It is really up to the Dr to pick one and become proficient through followup seminars and ongoing education. I recommend the find a doctor or referral feature on Gonstead.com and Gonsteadseminar.com to locate good ones in your area. This is not a complete list obviously but it is a good place to start. If none are close to you call the closest one and ask them for a referral in your area. Activator.com has a similiar feature and DC's have to be certified to be listed on that one. I can always help if you are having trouble locating one that works for you.
  19. If that's all he gave you was a pop and a promise you need to find another one. The best you'll get from that is minor short term relief. If you really expect results find someone who will do an exam and take a film if its necessary etc. IF its not specific he's just manipulating random joints for the endorphin release. the joint is no doubt inflamed and the ice is a good suggestion but its a temporary fix. give me an idea where you are and whats close by town wise and I will try and find you a good one. Otherwise ask where they went to school what there treatment goal is, Ask them to explain a subluxation to you, Ask if they offer wellness care. If any of these questions makes them stutter try somewhere else. good colleges PALMER PARKER LIFE SHERMAN Northwestern is a coin toss NYCC is a coin toss I don't recomend any of the others Ask about technique if they name one specifically that's a good thing If they name 6 they probably aren't great at any one of them. Its ok if they use one primarily and offer services in one or two others. any technique name that ends in package is 6+ techniques. Good ones are Gonstead, Activator, thompson, cox etc
