  1. We used to live at Big sky and are headed back there this weekend to rip it up. My wife and I will be riding fri, sat, sun April 2, 3 & 4. Always looking for other carvers. Hoping to make turns with all of the great folks we havve met there. If you are going to be there give us a ring at 406-369-3212 and we can show you around the mountain or just carve it up. Robert and Lynn
  2. Allie, one thing I have found is that most Alpine boards are set up for men who carry most of their weight in their chest. Women tend to carry more body weight in the rear. I simply mounted my wifes bindings about 1 inch a-head of center and that solved her problem with her GS boards (did not need to do so on her slalom set up).
  3. Hi John, If you make it to Big Sky give us a shout and we'll show you the mountain. Big Sky finally got some snow w/about 10 inches in the last 24 hrs.
  4. I have an old board of my wifes it is a 152cm Killer Loop with a set of oxygen step ins (do not require intec heels) this is an older set up but lots of life yet. $100 for both.
  5. Big sky has everything you want except people on hardboots. A busy day has 5000 skiers and usually a daily tally of around 2500 people spread out over 3500 acres. With the new Lone peak pass you add Moonlight to the mix and you have huge terrain options.
  6. Hi everyone, Big Blizzard this morning with about 6 inches overnight and another 3 this morning along with some wind. Anyway Lynn and I will be there on Sunday at 10:00 am at the ski check. Black coat,, red helmet anda 186 Coiler, Lynn will be in a greencoat, Grey helmut and a 164 hot blast. BTW just look for the only people on carving boards and it will be our group. Happy trenching. Robert and Lynn
  7. FP Sold! Sold the FP 73 all the other boards are still available. Make an offer!
  8. Chad, between the three of us we'll have you ripping heelside in no time! Tippy's Tumble and Silver Knife are the next progression. Look forward to riding. Kathy, I don't work for the resort anymore so I don't get any deals. Lots of folks park in the free skier lot w/ campers and as long as it isn't -20 like last weekend you should be fine. Robert
  9. Lynn and I are planning on riding with you both on Sat and Sunday. It has been great! They have a new hi-speed on Southern Comfort which now makes ElDorado my fovorite ripper. Robert
  10. Looking through the closet my wife and I have a bunch of boards for sale. All are in good shape but have been ridden. I have attached pics and can send more if interested. Burton FP 173 w/ Burton Plates $150 board only $100 Oxygen KR 164 w/ Burton plates $150 board only $100 Killer Loop R3 159cm $100 Killer Loop R2 152 cm w/ Oxygen Step in bindings $150 This board was my wife's first carving board great first board!
  11. Hi Jeff, I remember you and wish we had a chance to trench it up. I lived in Livingston for years (check out the side channel just below Depuis). I don't work for the Resort anymore so lost the good deals. If you want to come up and ride though just give me a shout. I too was bummed about Ambush but they are grooming a swath down Elk Park Meadow that is great. Robert P.S. Added a 17 3/4 inch Golden Trout to the wall last summer. LOL
  12. Hi, My wife and I ride at Big Sky every weekend and would be happy to show any carvers on this site around the area. We have been riding here for about 8 years so know "where to trench". If you are headed this way give us a shout. Robert
  13. Thanks! Thats a great board at a great price. My wife is only 5'2" and the 164 is her "Big Ride". If I didn't already have 3 boards in that length I'd be interested.
  14. OK Bryan, Do you want to part with one of the 2 185"s you have?
  15. Hi all, My wife is riding a Hot Blast 164 cm board built in 1998. This is a white board with min. graphics. If anyone has one of these sitting around that is in good shape I'd be very interested.
