  1. Where's Dr. D when you need him? We want you input here doc
  2. OK then... we'll just stick with bitter You know how I feel about WP .... good snow this year in comparison though
  3. I experience lower back pain pretty much after every day of riding... especially if I get right into a car for long periods. It feels like a muscle cramp and for sure pulls a disk out (or something) because the pain is intense and I have to pop it back in place pretty much daily. Sure... snow conditions, equipment, setup... those are factors. But the bottom line (I think) is my core is shaped like a twelve pack. When I was younger and made of superball material, I could just go do whatever I wanted to do no matter the intensity level. Now I'm going to have to work harder for the sports I love. We just had a rec center open in our area... hope I can get my twelver in there and knock a few cans off. Until that happens I will continue to medicate and use a crutch when it gets too painful to ride.
  4. I agree one thousand percent with the first half of this comment Although the second part not so much... There are metal boards out there with as much pop and energy as glass ... and there are metal boards out there that are super damp and quiet
  5. now Mark... you're just bitter cuz you dont have a WP pass this year ... and the snow has been better here than Summit/Eagle so far I'll trade snow on a "lesser" hill over rocks any day
  6. CJ is coming up tonight... we will be riding WP tomorrow (Mon 2/1)
  7. CJ was talking about coming up... There's just something disturbing about riding a rock board at Beaver Creek in February Thanks for the pics Ace/Ang... very cool
  8. I have ridden both SW and F2... but neither with a vist The SW is all metal construction and way less likely to break The feel is similar but I think the SW wins in performance... better edge control Give Fin a call. He has lots of racers on the SW... someone out there must have them on a VIST
  9. Riding with LCI today... see you in a bit Edit: Thanks guys! Great day...enjoyed it a lot! See you again soon... maybe SES Big - take care of those sunburned teeth :D
  10. We get this at Winter Park Understaffed B team operators on a low budget Some days there are freshly "groomed" trails that are complete unridable
  11. 12. Tom - If you can, would you put up a vid showing the squishiness of the blue e-pads on dry land once you have them installed? I think it would be an interesting comparison to your vid in post #30 vs. the yellow pads and TD2s. Now that I've ridden SWs with both blue and yellow e-pads... For me at 200lbs, the yellow seems like a great choice for a powder day and the blue ones are better suited for harder carving .... huge difference between the two in the way they ride
  13. Check here http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=28233 There are a couple other threads too
  14. Yes but he doesn't want to ride with you... he heard you have no ass :p

  16. Cool vid Tom! In the vid you are on the softest setup possible for the SW Just curious... did you try the blue e-pads and if so what did you think?

  20. Or you can throw on a boot and while you are in your binding give it some torque and have another person with needle nose pliers swap them out. This worked rather well last night despite the intake of several PBRs Now that I think about it... At one point Justin was standing on the board, I was bent over trying to torque the bindings, and Mark was down below playing operation ... must have looked like a sick game of twister
  21. Yall come on back now ... ya hear? Yes... tunes a crank'n
  22. I told you not to read it... Want to know about conditions yesterday? Steve, Arnie, or Mat could tell you too Good day guys...Thanks!
