nick8228
Bought this on here in December and thought it would be a great board to be aggressive on, despite knowing it's optimized performance is for someone who weighs within the range of 175-210 pounds. Point being I did many Slalom, Giant Slalom, and modified beer league races at 5'9 and 150 pounds, the board knocked me around especially on ice more times than not, so don't make the mistake I did. Tuned the board multiple times for races and has very light topical scratches that shouldn't effect the boards performance at all. Will put on a storage wax on and tune the edges once more before sending out. $400 plus shipping *Bindings not included Edited June 27, 2021 by nick8228
barryj
Hey Nick, Is this a stock SL162 or custom specs? Do I see UPM inserts also??
nick8228
It's stock I believe, yes it does have upm inserts as well as inserts for a recommended stance. I don't know too much about how the Kessler boards are built, but this board has a good bit of rocker at the nose before it goes into camber under the feet. bigwavedave
Is waist width, 19.5? or 20? What angles do you use on the edges?
nick8228
I've been using 87 degrees or so on the edge angles. And the waist width is around 20 cm.
barryj
Any idea what model year this is from and/or how many seasons are on it prior to you? Can you post a photo of the board sans binders please.
nick8228
Not sure what year, was never told what year this model is, if I had to take a guess, maybe somewhere a few years prior to 2020. It's only had 1 season before me. Also what is a sans binder photo?

nick8228
Thanks for the clarification @big mario, I will have time to do so in the next day or so. @daveo that sounds about right given its looks and the time that the previous owner kept the board for. Great board man. If I still had a upm plate, I'd be considering it.
nick8228
It's also got 2x4 mountain for the reccomended stance on the board drilled.

daveo
Can I ask the stance width for the regular binding holes?

JRAZZ
Quote In 1930, the British Standards Institution adopted an inch of exactly 25.4 mm. daveo
Just asking because, if I remember correctly, vist requires inserts at 50cm.

I was hoping to see the standard 2 x 10 insert packs.
nick8228
I believe it's going to be 50.8 cm from the center of the square 2x2 holes to the center of the square of the other 2x2 holes@daveo, unless your figure are the distance from the holes that are in line
daveo
I may be wrong, so if I am, someone please correct me, but I don't think vist is going to work on this board. I think it needs 50cm centre to centre.
user1
Perhaps the measurement being taken is just a bit off if a metric tape is not being used. I think the previous owner indicated a 50cm stance width and use of a VIST plate if it is the same board as: Edited April 12, 2021 by user1
daveo
That sounds more reasonable. If it us a serial board, I doubt it'd have inserts at 50.8cm stance width. That's good to know for any potential buyers. Inserts at 50cm and UPM.
