Motorized hydrofoil board

Yep...just think of riding huge ground swells off a coast, where you power in, ride the face and then pull out to power back out...gives one the opportunity to ride large swells that don't break, so as not to get gobbled up even if you fall off... the Fliteboard made down under is around 10 to 12,000... also you could take it out on the lake and pull into other boats wakes, or grab a nuclear subs wake if one came by on the surface...

I was looking at those, but there are several different approaches to the concept and I'm kind of waiting for the technology to settle down a bit. I don't want to be saddled in a year's time with something I can't get maintenance on. There are some places you can rent them too... I'm not sure if it's going to be interesting enough to justify the capital, just riding around on flat water, if you see what I mean.

I actually have one of the original Jimmy Lewis non- powered stand up hydrofoils from about 15 years ago. Had an air chair before that.  We mainly used I behind our boat but managed to get a few east coast hurricane swells on it. Very fun and super unique sensation. I'm excited to try a powered version.
