SEJ
Picked this up from TVR in 07 or 08. Rode it twice. Just been sitting since. Too stiff for me at 165#s and my skill level. Stan had a run in with a skier that peeled back a spot of topsheet. He had it repaired, but it is still visible. Pic makes it look worse than it is. Base has one ding in it, but has the best grind I have ever seen. BEAUTIFUL structure. Gobs of camber. This has just been sitting for years, I would probably polish the edges just to make it perform perfectly. $175 plus shipping. Dan
Hmm, that's interesting. I have one that's probably 2-3 years older than yours, and I'm able to have fun with it at 155 lbs. It's possible they changed the flex profile over time (?). Having said that, lots of seasons it doesn't even get one day because you really need a midweek killer groom day, late enough in the season that you have your legs under you, to even think about taking it up. Anyways, killer board, someone will definitely have fun with it. Edited February 16, 2015 by Dan
SEJ
I remember Mark bringing 2 to SES. One fairly soft, the other world cup stiff. This one is on the stiff side. I mean, crap! Just look how thick the sidewall is.
big canuck
I have never seen a 188 Hasco Burner in my 10 years on BOL. That's a rare board. I have the 178. Very cool whips. K
powdahbonz
How about for a 200lb guy? Too soft are adequate? I'm really intrigued by these boards and have never been on one.
SEJ
Don't know about 200 lbs. Stiff as hell at 165 lbs.
pokkis
All red ones i've seen are not very stiff, but if you look for heavier rider, this has been labeled as extra stiff. That is previously owned by me and it is real nice toy. http://www.ojankaivajat.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=3063
SEJ
Thanks for the input pokkis. Is it actually labeled somewhere? Big Canuck, Hasco? Can you shed some light? Just know the topsheet is different than any other burner I've seen?
teach
From the Carvers' Almanac (www.alpinecarving.com): " '00 was the last season that you could buy a Sims Burner in the US, but it was continued for a few years later in Japan, then the model was manufactured under the Hasco brand until '03." Sent you a PM. Edited February 19, 2015 by teach

powdahbonz
Would you mind checking on shipping to 04046? I'm guessing we are talking at least 60 with the length and usps/ups ability to gouge on shipping. Thanks I'm seriously considering it Derek
SEJ
I checked on shipping to NH and it was $ 62 (I'm on the west coast) I wouldn't think Maine would be much more. If REAL interested I can get actual cost.
