Allee
Boris ... super interested in that Palmer. Have you ridden it in HB's? Impressions? Can you post up a pic?
BlueB
Allee, you are 3rd in line. I know 2 more local riders who rode this model a lot more with hard boots. One rider, about 180lbs, killed off-piste and all-mountain and carved great. The other one, 240lbs of raw power, called it a bit nervous when carving very high edge angles. Pic attached. Wax is thick in the spots. All rubbing is in the wax, only one 1mm scratch. Will be tuned before shipping.

pow4ever
Hi Boris: Interested in the 4807. Not sure what F medium mean? Would it be too soft for 210lb? Hopefully shipping doesn't kill it. How much shipped to 11776? Thanks -- David
BlueB
"F" for flex. Fine for 210. However, when carving the groomers, don't expect to jump onto the nose to initiate - these boards don't need it/like it. Canada Post would be about $38 (edit: corrected to include insurance) to your location.

BlueB
Any details on the tanker? Year? Pics? Shipping to 98275? Flex okay for experienced 230lb rider? Thanks. Year should be 2005, all black with 3 red teardrops in the center. Shiping would be about $34, Canada Post. Flex, depending what you wanted to do... I'd say no high speed carving on hardpack, but great for pow, moguls, etc. I'll try to get some pics a bit later.

BlueB
Pics. Totally clean base. Stuff seen on the tail is just dirt, no scratches there.
BlueB
Can you put up some pics? Thin edges, as in ground a few time and became thin?? Nope, ther is still plenty of base/base edge. Just sharpened side edges too often. You still can sharpen it, but not reset the bevel. Pic shows the worst spot.

BlueB
How would you compare the 169 3800 to a 168 4800? 4807 - Exceptional float, very distinct "surf" feel in the way it carves the pow. It has great slush/chop plowing abillities. On the packed snow, it actually carves better then 3800, as it is stiffer and slightly narrower, with a bit longer edge and low tail. However, the long nose can flap around a bit. Unique board, completelly in own league. 3800 - Great float, less surfy but more classic snowboard feel in pow. Way more manouvrable in trees and moguls. Rides switch much easier. Rounded tail doesnt "hook" when you don't wan't it. Carves very well for a pow board. Probably one of the most versatile boards ever. Both boards can be riden soft or hard.
