Neil Gendzwill
Sorry I didn't reply Puddy Tat - rides with you on the weekend would be fine, although I believe right now we don't know where we're going on Sunday.

Riceball
Corey, NeilDue to my family vetoing me and taking over the Tahoe I can't drive you guys on the Friday. I will still be able to give you a ride on Saturday and Sunday. Corey I've already PM'd you on this. Neil I haven't heard back from you yet on my original offer. Dave Corey and I have been in contact. I'll pick them up Friday morning.
Neil Gendzwill
Thanks, Steve! I'm off to Mexico in the morning, I'll check back in here on the 11th when I get back to see what other arrangements have been made.

Nasty fall on some ice and a bump today... But new board on the way! I'm excited to be riding again!

Riceball
FYI - If you have equipment you are bringing that you are looking to sell or will allow people to test drive, please post the details on the following thread. Thanks to Dave "Puddy Tat" for this idea. Nakiska Expression Session 2011 - Board Swap
surlyguy
Looks like I will be making it for all 3 days. Think I owe someone lunch and a beer anyway ;)
Corey
Is there going to be snow? I keep seeing very warm temperatures for Calgary on all the weather segments in the news. Plus, I vote for ABS (Anywhere But Sunshine) on Sunday. :)
Riceball
Snow is still good at Nakiska. I agree with Sunshine. Alaina was there yesterday and said that they need snow. What about Lake Louise? The construction is all done now between Calgary and the Lake, so it is now twinned.
RooX
Norquay is always an easy option for Sunday, snow was pretty good last weekend. Little chopped up by days end. Also it was dead as can be on Mystic Chair. Got Saturday and Sunday booked off, so I should be good for both, will be good to meet you all. It is not only closer, a lot of us have never been there before. How is it for carving?
RooX
Seems pretty good for carving to me, will be going out again this Sunday to make a bunch more runs. Much steeper overall than Nakiska, not nearly as crowded.
Puddy Tat
Norquay is always an easy option for Sunday. and it's got some "fill yer shorts" steep runs as well. "Rob's Run "comes to mind.
ti_knee
I was at Louise last week. Little rocks all over.. Steph's skis got a bit scratched up. The bottom of the front side (women's downhill area) was pretty decent, but the same 4-5 runs all day. Top and back side wasn't worth it at all... busy and all skied off. It seemed like the areas used for races were in good shape, but not much else. Honestly, the good terrain was the same offering as Nakiska, and for the extra lines and crowds, and the extra drive, not worth it for me. Riceball
Looks like Norquay will be the hill for Sunday. We could wrap up the session with dinner in Banff afterwards. Unless someone else has a better idea, lets plan for that.
RooX
if anyone needs a ride, or wants to carpool, i'll be willing and able on either the sat or sun. I can also ferry boards/gear if necessary, have a truck with a locking cap and carpet, so its gentle on the boards.
energyrail
i'm up for norquay sunday. the man made snow pack should offer less rocks. I hope.
Corey
I know it's a longshot, but is anyone going by the airport after 1:30 on Thursday and going near C.O.P.? I'll just grab a ride on the shuttle that travels out there otherwise.
Riceball
What is it with this session and cold weather? At least we'll have great snow. Nakiska got 22cm in the last 24 hours and more is coming the rest of the week.
Puddy Tat
Yeah I've been watching that. People comng from warmer climates like say Saskatchewan or Manitoba might want to pack extra long johns. Well at least the hills should be empty.
