jonbass Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 It almost looks like he cut inside the gate at 1:30. it was close. Might just be the angle. Quote

inkaholic Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 Much of the time a race will be won by the rider who makes the quickest recoveries and Jasey is the best that I know of for doing just that. He pushes to the limit, goes just over, recovers and keeps it rolling like no one else. AMAZING to watch in person at full speed. Then to be able to see it broken down in slow motion like here and see just what actually happened is very cool. Thanks Booster, Ink Quote

Look at the age of the Top 7: 1 ANDERSON, Jasey CAN = 34 2 MORISON, Matthew CAN 3 GALMARINI, Nevin SUI 4 REITER, Justin USA = 28 5 SCHOCH, Simon SUI = 31 6 BIVESON, Daniel SWE = 32 7 KLUG, Chris USA = 36 Copper was no easy race, racing experience becomes a factor ( not the only one ) and Jasey is one the best at that play... neil sunday Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 awesome video!!!! I really enjoyed it. Is it only me or the upper body seems to be quite noisy? -- David When racing in the large final... or any qualifier, these athletes are not "locked" into a pretty riding position or form. They rely on training and instinct ot get them down the hill as fast as possible. so yes... the upper body may be quite noisy. kinda like the party after the athlete grabs the check for winning! inkaholic Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Often times the fastest rider is the one with the most and cleanest linked recoveries. Also see post #10. Ink Quote
